While looking for an hotel in Amsterdam for a business trip, I came across this place. I chose it for its location but as it turned out, it has been much more than that.
It is a small hotel, situated in an old building, with...More
Easy to find, very close to Rembrandtplein and located in front of Amstel River. People very polite, but nothing justifies the price (150 euros). Too much expensive for a room very simple. A good stay but next time I would look for other place.
Location is everything for this place. Overlooking a canal and a stone's throw from Rembrandtplein square . We landed on Kings Day and it was all out party on the streets. Very close to restaurants , pubs many small eateries .Nearest Metro is Waterlooplein, but...More

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

Yes there is, but we were in the family suite next to the hotel. And it was dirty, smelly and toilet didn't flush. We ended up staying in one room that's how bad it was. Advise you not to book there. Pay bit extra and book elsewhere. We went for my birthday group of 6 girls and I booked it.
