We decided to go to Amsterdam on relatively short notice and I didn't get the chance to research hotels as much as I normally would. We selected the Hotel Atlantis mainly because it was within our price range. Upon arrival we were very pleased to discover it was in a great location and was a lovely cozy hotel. The location...

Ok so the room...beds were clean with fresh bedding each day. Bathroom was clean but with slight damage to walls. Towels were changed daily and tea and coffee also. All that being said we didn't spend much time in the room as we wanted to be out and about each day but it was a decent hotel with very helpful...

Stayed here with a friend in October 2015. The location of the hotel is a bit far from the main city (It takes about 30 mins to walk to the city square or 10-15 mins by Tram). The hotel facilities were great but considering the price that we paid, we expected a little more. Amsterdam is a costly city but...

The room (202) was clean, quiet, warm, and everything worked. The shower was easy to use, and the hot water was constant. The beds were very comfortable with new mattresses. Tea and coffee in the room was good, and the room has a split system air conditioner for summer. One small thing, the down-lights over the bed did not work....

The hotel is convenient enough location but my review only gives two stars mainly because the carpet in the room was very dirty with stains. The room was also quite small and not very sound proof. The last black mark for me was a city tax had to be paid on arrival.

Visited here recently with my partner. Paid extra for balancony, ended up a shared garden (no privacy) didnt really feel safe being outside there alone at night. Also, had to keep the curtains closed all the time so people couldny see in. Room was ok, clean! Id stay here again for the fact it may not be modern its certainly...

Staying in De Pijp

Neighbourhood Profile
De Pijp
Bustling Albert Cuypstraat serves as the main drag through De Pijp and the location for Albert Cuyp Market, the largest and most famous of Amsterdam’s many outdoor markets. Beyond this sometimes-frantic thoroughfare, tiny lanes beckon urban explorers in search of the latest trends and hidden gems. Nearly half the residents living in De Pijp are foreigners and a good number of them are students. Here you'll find a multitude of ethnic restaurants, great cafes and bars, and a brilliant array of locally owned shops, all catering to a broad range of budgets and tastes.
