We stayed for 3 nights and it was just what we wanted, we arrived and the lady on reception was really friendly explained everything and happy to answer and questions we asked. Everywhere was clean and tidy. Our room was small and basic but it was very clean and tidy and just what we needed for our long weekend!! Staff...

Reception staff very helpful and friendly. We were given a free upgrade on arrival, our room had a balcony at the rear of the hotel. The room was clean but in need of an update. Didn't have the breakfast at 9 euros for continental. Plenty of places nearby serving breakfast. Tram was very easy to use too and from airport....

The rooms which don't come with airconditioning were comfortable enough in the crisp September weather. The hotel is right next to tram lines 3 or 4 and is conveniently located as a jump off point for many of amsterdam's popular sights (museum quarter, the dock area, prinzengracht). Protip: skip paying for the eur10 breakfast (boiled eggs, deli meats, bread, fruit,...

Room was small but clean. The room I got was at ground level so a bit noisy. Wi-Fi was reasonable enough. Hotel was quite expensive for what it was. Easy walk from hotel to the tram and only a short trip to the city centre or the strain station. As others have said buy a multi day pass which was...

I was surprised at the shabbiness and service at this hotel, especially given the cost for a night was €165. The location is good, right on a tram line with easy access to Centraal station as well as museums and the Heineken experience. Also there are several good restaurants and pubs quite close to the hotel. The room was very...

Rooms were very small, even the double bedroom for that price. There were twin beds but hardly any space to move around. However, rooms were fairly clean and decent. Breakfast was at an extra cost. Wifi available at a decent speed. Hotel staff helpful and friendly

The hotel was fairly decent. The lady at the reception was very helpful and friendly, the other staff not so. The room was in the back of the hotel, a small standard room but quiet, clean and comfortable enough. Also an electric kettle with coffee and tea was available. The room had a big - shared - balcony which was...

My daughter and I were stranded in Amsterdam, tough times, I know, after our campervan broke down. We got a last minute booking here and what a peaceful, tanquil little spot the Atlantis is. The rooms were clean, had everything we needed & we were right in the city centre. Bikes are available to hire from the Atlantis which made...

Room was a good size, with plenty of wardrobe space per person. Beds were clean, with fresh sheets each day. Bathroom was also clean. We didn't spend a great deal of time in the hotel, but the time we did it was a pleasant environment. Staff were friendly, and helpful to aid you getting on the correct trams there is...

Staying in De Pijp

Neighbourhood Profile
De Pijp
Bustling Albert Cuypstraat serves as the main drag through De Pijp and the location for Albert Cuyp Market, the largest and most famous of Amsterdam’s many outdoor markets. Beyond this sometimes-frantic thoroughfare, tiny lanes beckon urban explorers in search of the latest trends and hidden gems. Nearly half the residents living in De Pijp are foreigners and a good number of them are students. Here you'll find a multitude of ethnic restaurants, great cafes and bars, and a brilliant array of locally owned shops, all catering to a broad range of budgets and tastes.
