This hotel is perfectly located to Vondelpark, Leidsestraat and not a massive walk to the city centre either. The staff where very helpful, fresh towels and sheets everyday. There was a lot of snacks and drinks available to purchase in reception. There is a bus direct from there airport to the nearest stop which is Leidseplein, Only 5 euros!! Overall...

It is ideal for a short stay. Price was reasonable. However, we booked the twin room which was small, hardly any room to store your luggage. The beds were uncomfortable and too close together. The location is OK, although you can get a direct tram to various places around Amsterdam from just around the corner. The WiFi was good.

the location was very good and near to city center and quiet area, but very uncomfortable stairs, The room was very small and the 2 single beds was tiny and Very unfriendly receptionist, we had to pay for every little extra service, such as storing our luggage, we pay 10 euro for 2 hours.

We spent a very nice weekend in Amsterdam despite the fact that this hotel is dirty : wandering if vacuum cleaner is known and we need to ask to change the fitted sheet which were torn before we arrived ! Bathroom is ok for people under 1.70m others need to be contortionists.

Me and wife stayed here february 15. Wont be going back. The room was icecold and didnt get warmer. No breakfast. Bad wifi. The blanket on the bed was 2cm. So you sould sleep with your pants and swetar on, or you would freeze. Only positive was that centrum isnt that far from the hotel. Would not come back again

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
