I wasn't in the 3 star part but in the 2 star part of the hotel. So I can t say anything about the 3 star part. The room was small, but there was everything I needed. Unfortunately the room hasn't been heated the whole day, so when I arrived it was freezing cold in there. I turned on the... More

Great staff very helpfull and doin' it with a big smile. They make sure you can buy there everything in a cost price. From bus tickets to attraction tickets to dinner reservations etc. Everything i asked was taken care of within minutes. From more towels to a change of light-bulb. Good location. Very clean. Recommended!

As a frequent visitor to Amsterdam this hotel ticks all the boxes. Clean hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast, convenient location in a quiet area. What more could one want for a reasonable price? I love to walk from the hotel up Reguliersgracht through historic Grachtengordel to the Old Centre.

Friendly staff in hotel. Reasonably priced and room is clean but small. Location of hotel strategic and safe. Ideally located. Easy accessability to transportation by bus. Walking distance to Heineken Experience, Canal Ride and AlberCup Market. 10 mins walk to Vondel Park. 20 mins to Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Musuem.

The positives: great location friendly staff, large room and clean bathroom The negatives: poor value for money (over £400 for three nights for one twin room with no breakfast), shabby furnishings, cheap carpets, no storage in the bathroom. I know that Amsterdam is an expensive city but I was disappointed to pay premium rates for what is essentially a budget... More

The room 45 was so tiny, that a cant belive it was not a joke. Nothing close to the photos. The receptinonist was not so friendly. I am expecting beter service an beter rooms. The stairs was terrifing.

A great hotel for a couple of days in Amsterdam. Quiet, but in walking distance to the center. For a City hotel in this price range, the rooms were quite big. I very much enjoyed the Breakfast, the friendly staff and -something rare in most hotels- the bed was very comfortable.

I had a quick one night stay at the Hotel Asterisk which was a nice inner suburban Amsterdam stay. The hotel was nicely laid out and, mercifully, had a window which actually opened for fresh air. The tram gets you nice and close from Amsterdam Centro with nice sites to see from the tram on the way. A quick walk... More
