This is the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in and I have been all over the world. It stinks like pee pee, the rooms are small, everything is broken in the room, we were eaten alive by mosquitos at night, the breakfast was horrible! The stairs to the rooms are straight up - like the ladder on a...

We reserved 2 rooms for 3 adults via www.hotels.nl for 2 nights during the weekend march 27-29. One of the conditions of the reservation is to telephone the hotel if you will check-in after 16.00 hrs on day of arrival. This we did this on 2 occasions: the day before and the morning of arrival. When we arrived we were...

An excellent location – 10 minutes from almost everywhere. Typical 70s decor. The bed linen and towels were pristine and the bed was good quality and comfortable but the rest was shabby and room 5 had not been renovated as the web listing says. Room was small but no smaller than you might expect for a 2*, the shower room...

I booked a room for 8 days, I had an horrible tiny room on the courtyard, you have to know that it is just beside a night club, bring your ear-plugs if you want to try to sleep before 4 am on week-end .. Also one lamp was not working, the TV either, the bath towel were not changed for...

The 'friendly staff' were clearly not around that day. After a 20min wait in reception (no bell) a girl drifted in but didn't appear to have a clue. The owner then showed up and immediately charged an extra 4% on the booking although it was booked and subsequently paid for with a debit not credit card. The hotel is filthy...

Me and my girlfriend booked a stay at this hotel using the website easytobook.nl. Upon arrival we were told that they had no record of our reservation and we would have to upgrade to a more expensive canalside room. My girlfriend explained that the booking error was not our problem but we were told they were fully booked and didnt...

I cant beleive what i have just read. I wasnt being overly paranoid at all. I stayed in The Waterfront hotel in Amsterdam. Was charged 225 Euro's for a double room. Since reading there website that room should have only cost 135 Euro's. Only paid it because we had spent 3 hours looking for somewhere to stay. The room was...

Booking three rooms for a family stay by email was easy, but because of our desire to all be on the same floor, we had two pleasant double rooms but the room at the back was appalling. It was damp and stank. The cleaner, obviously trying to help this left the window open which we did not appreaciate for security...

We stayed at the waterfront hotel and it was great. we had read bad reviews about it , but it is now under new ownership/ management and you could'nt ask for better. The staff was excellent, the little breakfast was nice . You need to pay the extra for the canal view, it makes all the difference in the world....
