It was noisy because there was a group. and The use of lockers is charged. 1h = 0.20 euro. Kitchen is not allowed. to be uncomfortable. It is good to have the bathroom and shower separate. Sunlight comes in the room.

Stayed 3 nights at this hostel. Rooms were clean; facility was very safe and I loved being next to the park. My experience with the staff was inconsistent ... most of them I had to ask a lot of questions instead of them offering helpful information (like the fact that the laundry room closed at 9 PM and I was...

I stayed at Stayokay Vondelpark for two nights in May of 2017, and had read mixed reviews so didn't have high expectations, but overall had a good experience. It's a huge complex - there are 3 buildings total. I was a little concerned about the location since it looked fairly far out of the city centre on a map but...

I stayed at this hostel on a stag do in April 2017. The hostel is clean and well maintained. There is plenty of hot water for the shower. And even though we were on a stag do it was a quiet hostel. I have stayed in hostels all over the world and this is up there with the best of...

Accomodated a third guest in nice private room with view of Vondelpark. Walking distance to tram and Cafe Americain and Poffertjes / Pancake restaurant. Clean and safe place to stay with great coffee and breakfast. The bar also serves inexpensive meals. Internet connection did not work on fourth floor but downstairs. Many nationalities.

thats it its a great hostel but the stuff that works in the night are aggressive and offensive, the last night to make my checkin I visited to a friend in the lobby and the personal told me that I should stay outside with cool waiting to my friend because in this moment I wasn't a mess the next three...

it is more like hotel than hostel i think. not so many atmosphere. And i hope there would be like microwave and water boiler. The rooms is really clean and beds are comfortable. also the area is near the park which makes the room really quiet.

In a great location, within walking distance to most major sites. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There were a lot of activities offered within the hostel itself and brochures on things to do around Amsterdam.

Stayed two nights, beds and Wi-Fi average but showering facilities and breakfast were good + stylish lobby with plenty of information on Amsterdam. A reliable Hostel that does the job (so as long as you're not to rely on Wi-Fi during your stay).

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
