Stayed here Over a year ago, but the experience has left a bad taste in my mouth... Was booked for the King Hotel for several months with only a booking confirmation... I wasn't told of any issues with the hotel by the company i booked with, or the management... Upon arriving after a very long day, i was met by...

Located in a great spot and if you get a room with the canal view you will also have a great view from your windows. Accurate for couples and friends, the rooms and the hospitality were answering The needs. Recommended...

We visited this hotel in June 2013, for 3 nights. What we have found is really bad. The owner is Indian and full of bad attitude. we were given a worst room and there were no room service available. What I saw was rooms r really very small with no views at all. you might get better hotels in this...

This hotel is still being built. The hotel's photographs, and the description of services on their web pages are nothing like the hotel I stayed in. I am absolutely certain that the photographs and description of services on their web pages are from another hotel. I told them I was staying on business they assured me that they had free...

I enjoyed my stay at the King Hotel. It was actually better than I thought it would be, I would have given this a 3 star instead of their 2 star ranking. The rooms were quite spacious and we had a direct view of one of the canals, I would totally recommend asking for a room with this view when...

This is not the king hotel according to the staff who run it. I have received an apology and compensation from the booking agency for their part in the misrepresentation of this hotel's services. I have also lodged a complaint with the Independent complaints commission as well as the Netherlands chamber of commerce. I would strongly recommend booking elsewhere for...

This is not a luxury hotel, with small rooms, VERY steep stairs, and narrow hallways. That said, it is a serviceable basic place which is more than worth the money for the location alone. It's right off the Leidesplein, and minutes away from many of the sights you'd want to see in the city. Cleanliness was fine, though my room...

I booked a twin room at the Quentin hotel based on the photos of the hotel and facilities offered. I did think the rooms in the photos were a bit small and basic, but for the price, in the middle of Amsterdam, it looked ok. When we arrived the staff seemed disinterested and slightly annoyed .. with everybody. This is...

My boyfriend and I booked into the King Hotel for a week in February 2014 and were not disappointed! We are 21 and 24 years old and just wanted something clean, cheap and central which is exactly what we got. The rooms had everything you needed, private bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, comfy beds, wardrobe space and we were...

“No matter how much they try to dissuade you, make sure that you check the bed for bugs, the mattress for urine stains and shower for mould before you pay for the room.”

“My internal facing room (#312) was good with large window for fresh air. Would suggest considering front of hotel all doubles as little street noise, overlooks canal, faces south.”
