they bumped the price seeing the situation(40.EUROES for a single bed in shared room on a saturday evening). on top of it the staff is so rude; due to the fact that they have higher demand than supply i guess. very unclean and suffocating place, stairs are too difficult and pain.

I stayed at Bob's for 2 nights. I was supposed to be there for 3, but I missed my bus from Berlin to Amsterdam. When I emailed the hostel to inform them I would be arriving later (during the very inconvenient time they are closed 3am-8am). There was no reply. So I arrived at 6am, and had to wait outside...

Me and my mate stayed here for 4 days. We had the 6 person room which was on the 3rd floor. The stairs are very narrow and steep. It's shared toilet between about 15 people and it can be quite uncomfortable. There are better hostels out there for a similar price. The only advantage is the good central location. Only...

Decent place to stay even if you book a room and get there time they say still have to wait a few hours to actually get access to your room, offer a place to leave your bag but definitely will get lost as get another 50 bags on top of your, bunk bed is sleeping arrangement, lounge area is good...

Well, I forgot about the fact that our room didn't have any light for 24 hours and we couldn't charge any of our phones and we had to be all they without battery... the place is ok. But the light situation was a crime, because we paid quite a lot between deposit, %, blablabla... was really expensive at the end...

Was here for almost 3 days, was warm and staff was friendly. Stayed in an 8 people sharing room with my brother. People were nice and respectful. There's a locker for each bed. You can "rent" a lock for 10 which will be returned to you at the end of your stay when you give the lock and keys back.

After reading many tripadvisor reviews for this hostel, I was pretty concerned about the condition of this place. Since I'm on a tight budget and was only going for two nights, I've decided to go anyway, since Bob's offered the cheapest price but expecting the worst. My friend and I stayed in the building in the next road, room H,...

Immediately after arriving, I regretted my choice in accommodation. Rude and unhelpful staff when my towel was stolen. Expensive and an extra 10 euro as a deposit on nothing. Even with fun and nice residents, I would not recommend.

Do not stay at this hostel!!!! Myself and my friends ending up staying here for two nights. As soon as we arrived we instantly regretted it. The reception area is dirty, smell and humid. Staff are also rude. As you get to the stairs of death there is an over whelming smell of urine. It is so bad. The stairs...

Can't fault the location however, facilities were below average and there was not a great community feel, staff were low key rude but overall for what you pay the location makes it worth it, be prepared to kind of rough it a little bit but it's not as bad as other reviews make it out to be. You get what...
