The Hotel Keizershof is a very special place run by very special people who made our trip to Amsterdam memorable. The entire family made us feel very welcome, and their willingness to share their knowledge and enthusiasm for their beautiful city was truly exceptional. The family-style breakfast is a great experience as it allows the guests to share their experiences...

Very friendly owners and the location cannot be beat. A few blocks from the Van Gogh Museum and other attractions I can't spell. Love the Rick Steve's vibe. If you are looking for a multi-room hotel with all the amenities then this isn't for you. But if you are looking for a very comfortable and very spacious room in the...

My wife and I normally take our city breaks in large chain hotels and so my booking of Keizerhof with it's 4 (I think) rooms was a brave break from the norm - but what a splendid decision. The owner was on a break of her own and so the delightful brother and sister doublet act Tony and Sarah looked...

The owners are so friendly and helpful, it is as if one is staying in their home .... and one is! We had a special room overlooking the beautiful garden. The bathroom is a bit small but the lovely room compensates. The location is excellent and very easy to get anywhere by tram or by foot. The inclusive breakfast is...

Friendly helpful owners and a comfortable room. A really good buffet breakfast too.Be aware there are fairly steep stairs. This hotel is so near to main attractions but is very peaceful to come back to. Flowers in the room were a lovely touch too and there is a pretty well tended garden.

We had a very nice four-night stay at the Keizershof in March. One of the nicest things about the hotel is that it is a genuine 17th century canal house with many original features (including a rather narrow and steep, but not very long stair-case). Our bedroom had a lovely fire-place with blue Delft tiles. It's quite a small hotel,...

We first stayed here 16 years ago - hadn't been back to Amsterdam since then but remembered the Keizershof and the wonderfully friendly De Vries Family who run it. We arrived as guests, but were friends within an hour, and effusively loyal customers by the time we left. Chatting with Mary and her son, eating the delicious breakfasts they made...

I took three of my college students to Amsterdam for their first trip to the Netherlands. Ernst and Mary were wildly lovely and hospitable. We highly recommend staying at this beautiful rowhouse with a delicious breakfast.
