The location is certainly a strong positive for the Max Brown, as it's within walking distance of lots of interesting things, and the station, which is convenient. The room was decorated in an unusual but pleasing style, one wall covered with wooden boards, and a handful of interesting wall hangings. The bathroom was excellent, in particular the shower which was...

I stayed at the hotel in January. I booked through a booking site which didn't tell me the room I booked was tiny (this is, however, mentioned on their own website). The shower was in the same small room as everything else, in the corner of the room. Toilet was on the corridor (only for my use) and the sink...

This hotel is excellent. Slightly quirky. All rooms are individual and interesting. As the hotel consists of three old style Dutch houses joined together the rooms are small but adequate and quiet. It is only a few minutes walk fro the Central Station. The staff are friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is excellent and ad lib. There is nothing...

Bang on, I will certainly be staying here again. The hotel is close to the Central Train Station easily accessible from the airport so you don't have to pay the extortionate cab fares. These guys know how to look after the traveler.

We all loved our stay at Max Brown. It is a super little hotel right in the heart of the canal district. We got a warm welcome on arrival. The rooms are, as you would expect in one of these little tall houses by the canal side, a little small but we thought they were great -they have everything you'd...

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Max Brown's canal district and we had a fantastic time, we had 3 nights in a comfort (medium) room which was spotless throughout, the light continental buffet breakfast was just right for us but the thing that made our stay special were the staff especially Kelly and Jesse who supplied excellent...

Stayed here for 3 nights in room 207. This is a lovely hotel with a lovely relaxed feel but with staff always on hand. Our room was stylish and cozy with a very comfortable bed. The room was quiet and we definitely had a good nights sleep here. Good choice for breakfast - meusli, hams, cheeses, yoghurts and breads. This...

The Max Brown hotel is located near 2 bridges in the canal district and in my opinion this is the most picturesque spot in the city. I would have given 5 stars if my room was not located on the ground floor. Very noisy, so close to reception and bar. I complained with the reception and they offered me a good alternative.
