Small friendly hotel in a great location. My parents, brother and I stayed in the room with 4 single beds. It's small but it worked perfectly well for us, but we are not fussy and get along with each other. The bathroom is very modern and efficient, plus there was an extra toilet across the hall from our room which...

Clean room. Comfy bed. Amazing location. Friendly staff. Simple as that. All attractions, venues close by or reachable on foot. Restaurants, cafes and bars close by. Delightful authentic Dutch house adds to charm. 9 streets shops on doorstep, lovely browsing around shops to suit all tastes

Small no frills hotel right on the canal. Room is small basic and clean.Beds and pillows were comfy. Location was good - we walked from the station and all the main sights were within easy reach. This is an old original canal house and we loved the charm of it and it added to the fun of our short break. We...

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Hegra. The room was quite small but clean and the place had a homely feel to it. It's situated in a very central location on a quiet street but close to everything. Hired bikes from the hotel which was very handy too.

OK, its true the rooms aren't large and neither is the hotel (10 rooms) but you are in Amsterdam so what are you doing hanging out in your room anyway. The place is on a quiet canal but still very close to DAM square, trams, great restaurants, museum and central station. It has been recently renovated and its super clean...

We stayed for two nights. Robert is very welcoming. We had a canal view room on the second floor. It was small (it is amazing how small a bathroom can be!), but, the location is convenient and the price is affordable for Amsterdam. The location is convenient to the Anne Frank house and within reasonable walking distance to most attractions....

Stayed here for 1 night in February. Easy to find and within walking distance to everything. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was lovely and very clean. Be warned though it was a very steep incline up the small staircases. Breakfast was standard, though I am not a cat fan and the hotel cat insisted on sitting beside me....

The hotel is located really centrally, with only a short walk to the Anne Frank museum. The room was clean, although very compact. The stairs to get up to the third floor were very narrow and steep, which was ok for us, but if we'd had larger luggage or been less physically able it could have been a little tricky.

The hotel is perfectly located. It's near all places of interest and in a very calm district at the same time. The room was small (really small), but very cozy and very thoughtfully made. WiFi signal in the room was good. The stuff was very calm and friendly. And they had a very nice fluffy cat in the hall one...
