Stayed here for 3 nights. Perfect location. 5 min walk to dam square and to the tram line. As most people are saying the stairs is not suitable for everyone so beware of that. The room was immaculate as well as the bathroom. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed for four nights in double room, bathroom is fantastic, fresh towels and friendly staff. Really close to lots of interesting visits, including Anne Frank huis. Stairs are on the steep side but hand rails and handles were a help. all access key cards and soft close doors make for quiet evenings, though you can hear people coming up stairs...

Stayed here with my brother. Very nice clean and in a brilliant location. The view of the canal from our window was lovely. If you aren't good with stairs I'd probably not stay here as they are very steep and narrow. It's all part of the character of the place though and I loved it

The Room was clean, beds are ok, the bathroom and shower are very nice and new, the location is about 5 minute walk from the town square, close enough to the town but far enough to sleep peacefully, the staff where nice and let us check in early and check out late without any hassle, would definitely stay again.

This little hotel is in the most beautiful part of old Amsterdam. It was built in the 1600's so it has lots of charm. It has narrow steep steps but the desk clerk carried our bags up and down for us. It's only a couple blocks from the Anne Frank house and we walked to all the other tourist sites...

Small but very pleasant hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, as well as the bathroom. Beautiful canal views that made me forget about the cold weather, we will definitely be visiting again :)

This was a really comfortable room in a superb location. Don't be put off by the man at the front desk who was rather unfriendly but it didn't affect our stay. The stairs are incredibly steep but the view of the canal is beautiful. Modern bathroom and the room is basic yet comfortable. No tea and coffee facilities in room...

Very comfortable and homely hotel in a great location! Simple rooms and very clean. The staff were friendly, unfortunately Othello the cat didn't think much of us. I will be staying here for future trips if possible :)

Me and 4 mates booked Hegra to celebrate my step sons 18th birthday. Hotel was perfect for us. 5 minute walk from Dam Square, the best bar in the world next door, very clean and tidy hotel, friendly staff, very comfy beds, shower and bathroom small but did its job, good security with swipe cards for doors. Would recommend for...

Small friendly hotel in a great location. My parents, brother and I stayed in the room with 4 single beds. It's small but it worked perfectly well for us, but we are not fussy and get along with each other. The bathroom is very modern and efficient, plus there was an extra toilet across the hall from our room which...
