I stayed here with my family so we had two rooms. Our room was on the top floor and was seriously small, more of an attic. But it was cute with the window opening onto a canal. The bed was comfortable and the coffee in the room was excellent. My children had a bigger room with a modern decor. The breakfast...

Stayed here with my family in July. The hotel is very well situated next to a pretty canal and close to good resturants and cafes. It has a pleasant garden and seating area to the rear with large sofas and dining table and chairs. Staff were all very friendly. Breakfast was a vast range of fresh fruit, yoghurts, meats, cheese, muesli...

I really liked this hotel. Very clean and a great location. Reasonably priced for the area. Not the cheapest, not the most expensive. Staff was kind and helpful. Room was super small which was actually cute ... it's Amsterdam, I didn't expect anything big! Modern and very nicely decorated ... nice patio/garden in back that would be nice in the...

We stayed in the Hampshire Hotel Prisengratch for 4 nights and very much enjoyed our stay with them. We booked a twin room, which faces the Prisengratch canal, and found it to be very convenient. The room is effectively two rooms with a connecting door, and share a bathroom. Each of the small rooms have their own tvs, desks and...

Stayed for a week. Room 202 overlooking the canal. clean spacious room comfortable bed, good, quiet en suite. helpful staff. Plenty for breakfast. Very handy for museums and walking around. plenty of reasonable cafes and restaurants in a few minutes walk. Only grumble is the torn picture on the 1st floor landing. One guest had problems with mosquito bites (not...

If you ever stay with your sister and want your own space and your own bed and your own tv and your own window overlooking the canal and you do not mind. "small and compact" then keep this secret place to yourself. My friend stayed in a single room and again it was "small and compact" . You get what...

For a hotel in Amsterdam the price was great. Hotel was just outside the craziness that is the busy streets of Amsterdam. Still walking distance to most places, but the street was quite. Hotel had a nice size room, and we had a view of the canal which was nice. I would recommend this hotel for the backpack traveler or...
