Me and my boyfriend decided to stay here for a bit of fun after reading about the place on the internet. Obviously we didn't expect much when arriving, but still we had a fun time there! Staff was nice, room was okay (reminded me of how I slept when I was interrailing throughout europe!) and it was overall pretty good....

This hotel is located in a perfect position in Amsterdam, very close to the Museumplein and ten minutes walking from the city center. The hotel service is basic but good, if you need a cheap accomodation which take care of your essential needs this place is perfect. There is also a big common space with a bar, where you can...

I stayed here with my friends in a 4 beds room, so we were alone. The room was clean, fresh towels every day, we had our own bathroom. The only downside was that the bathroom had no windows and after the shower there was water everywhere. The staff was very helpful, breakfast delicious - good choice for the money. The...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights as part of a long interailing trip around Europe! Despite the slogan of it being the best 'worst' hotel we found this not to be the case. Location wise it's amazing, right in the centre so you can walk to everything. Couldn't ask for a better position. The bar is brilliant,...

Good hotel for only sleeping in. Our bathroom had mould all under the mirror, the room was roasting hot and the window was only able to be opened about two inches so no ventilation what so ever. This place screams party with happy hour, bar and under ground bar etc etc.... They promote Beer Pong which we played; having a...

I liked the outside area..... The halls and rooms were not inviting and no comfy seating areas ..... The location was good..... I wouldn't rush back though.... There's two other hostels in Amsterdam what are far more superior

Stayed for a long weekend at Hans Brinker as part of a rugby club tour (large group of 40+). Great atmosphere, very good location and friendly staff. Most other guest were also in large groups so Hostel seemed constantly noisy. The rooms served their purpose; a bed, a toilet, a shower and a locker. Maids cleaned rooms and changed towels...

Just come back from an amazing weekend in Amsterdam on rugby tour. This Hostel is not as bad as they make out and it's cheap and ideal if all you want is somewhere to get a few hours sleep. Room was very clean with what looked liked new bunk beds with a lockable draw under (if you have a padlock)...

Good location, friendly staff but apart from the lad making a racket with his hammer at 9am doesn't really help things when your head is roasted from being out the night before, the shower was absolutely ridiculous, got in it and it was a real lack of pressure, took about half an hour to get the soap out my hair...
