We stayed at this terrible hotel two months ago, there was no work being done whilst we were there. Hotel was like a backpackers and staff were very rude. Would not recommend any one to stay there as it was also very expensive. When we came back to Amsterdam we stayed at the Monet Gardens Hotel, this was an amazing and new hotel at around the same cost.
