We used this hotel last year in connection with the ISE fair. It is a small hotel with a friendly and serviceminded staff. There is af nice small bar and lounge right at the entrance - very cosy. The room are not big - but big enough for two persons. And very clean rooms and bathrooms. They serve a great...

In Amsterdam for only one night, looking for a room with a very short advance, I found this nice hotel. Good location, it's easy to arrive on the pedestrian area in the town center. Small but comfortable room, perfeclty heated for the night. Very good bed to sleep. Nice people at the desk.

Stunning hotel. We stayed in a gorgeous room overlooking Vondel park with a balcony. However I had emailed previous to see if this was possible as the trip was for a celebration. Staff were great very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

We were in Amsterdam for 2 nights and it was a great location for the centre, transport, bars, etc. While its close enough, its also far enough so you don't hear the noise of the centre. The hotel was very comfortable, modern & clean. The room I had was a 'single' and it was certainly that, but even so absolutely...

The location of the hotel was great, just a few minutes walk to the Rijksmuseum and bars, shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel room was clean. The hotel room is very small, which for me wasn't a problem because I was out doing tourist-y things all day, but its not the kind of...

I stayed in this hotel 4 days and don't think I would be able to stay a day longer. I don't know if it was just my bad luck but the room I stayed at was so small. Yes it was double room but one bag could barely fit between the bed and the desk. The bed was right next...

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
