Great location for every thing. Sights, shops and food. The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. I asked for a room with a view and we got what we asked for. You are looking over the main street but if you love watching a busy world go by then it's great. Great skyline view and not noisy. The comfiest bed...

Stayed as part of a one day visit to Amsterdam. Close to train station; about 30 minutes with train from airport to hotel; perfect!! Room was small but quite, clean and modern. Complete and fresh breakfast included and staff were friendly and informative. Storage available for sightseeing after check out.

Very central location. Room was a little small for 3 people but satisfied our needs. Beds very comfortable, room very clean and also very quite. Shower was excellent. Breakfast was a bit crazy, they could probably do with more staff, had to request glasses, cutlery etc on both mornings but food was nice and plenty of it!

Centrally located and great for a leisure break in Amsterdam. We were there on business, despite the fact that there are no meeting facilities we were made more than welcome in the lounge area and well looked after.

The hotel is minutes walking from the train station and very close to most of the attractions! We did everything walking! The staff were extremely helpful and so friendly! The room was nice and clean and the best part of hotels in Amsterdam is that they have elevators! I will definitely stay there again on my next visit to Amsterdam!!

We spend one night and two days in Amsterdam with my boyfriend and had pleasant time in Citadel. The location is the best you can get. Few minutes from Dam square and the next street is the busy shopping street with all the best shop. Even though it is in a busy street with trams and cars going by all...

My boyfriend and I visited Amsterdam for a joint birthday and valentines trip and we were not disappointed. The hotel was everything we could have asked for with a perfect location, half way between the station and Dam square, and the most comfortable bed we have ever stayed in! Breakfast was basic but plentiful and the staff were all friendly...

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
