I've stayed at this Ibis several times on trips to Amsterdam Two years ago, I was very disappoined and wrote a very poor review. Since they have remodeled and built an addition, everything has improved. Ill be staying there on future trips because of its convenient location next to the station where inexpensive snacks can be found in very expensive...

Stayed in the Windmill wing which is facing the waterways for a splendid night view. Free wifi provided, but more AC power points would have been better. Bathroom is a little cramped though. The heater was working, but not as warm as I preferred (I stayed from 20~23 Dec), can hear whistling sounds caused by the strong winds blowing outside...

nice hotel with friendly staff .Very long waiting for check in and out. An organized line should be created! Good breakfast . Next to Central train station actually even inside it! Good comfortable rooms. Big hotel with lots of coming in / out all the time. No real advantage for Accor Gold members; no free drink and no Express line....

Stayed here on 16th-19th December and had good views on the hotel until the second day. I left my pandora rings accidentally on the side of the bed when we left for the day. Upon arriving back to the room the rings had disappeared. The bed had been made, therefore housekeeping had been in and we turned the room upside...

As i am writing this i am currently sitting at the breakfast table wondering what they think is acceptable to be called a cooked breakfast. The location, service and rooms are spot on but dont waste your money paying for their breakfast you can get better elsewhere.

This Ibis is in an ideal location. Clost to the Station, Tourist Office, Trams, Buses and Canal boat trips. Gorgeous view from our window overlooking the heart of the city. Excellent sound proofing, so no noise. Breakfast was plentiful, with a good choice. Staff were excellent and friendly.

This is an average hotel, room sizes are too small, only has advantage of Central train station, but its worth to look at alternative option. Good luck for the people staying here. Only the Lobby was good

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
