This is a great hotel for groups of lads but I wouldn't take the wife... The rooms were big enough had a TV and shower and the one we got (top floor) was very quite... The location is excellent and it's handy that there's a amazing bakery just around the corner.

Stayed in the Delta in May for my stag night. It was cheap working out around £40 per head for a group of 14. If you want a hotel close to everything who will not bother you for having a laugh you will not beat this place. The rooms are not great but it is somewhere to put the head...

Things seem to have improved at the hotel since the some of the other reviewers have stayed there. My biggest compliment is that after I left my wallet in the room they posted it back to me in England complete with money and all the cards. The hotel is in a great location and is relatively cheap. The room was...

We stayed 3 nights April/05. Room was tiny with the bed against one wall and 20 cms from the other.Light switch by the door-so to turn off have to walk in dark round corner, up step and climb into bottom of bed. No bedside light. on arrival 2 of the 3 lightbulbs in room were broken. In spite of having...

This joke of a hotel is an absolutely disgraceful rip off and makes a mockery of the Dutch health authorities and tourist inspectors. It's a mouse infested, idiot staffed, poorly managed (if there is one) hell hole. I would seriously warn anybody thinking of staying at the Delta Hotel to consider not only their safety but their health as mice...

Just come back from a 3 day hen party in Amsterdam. Did not expect the Ritz for the price we paid and our quad bedroom(apart from damp in bathroom) was adequate and clean enough but some other party members had horrific rooms with little or no windows in them and litter scattered around the place. The attitude of the staff...

I stayed here a couple of years ago but recent reviews suggest not a lot has changed for the better (or indeed the worst). This hotel is perfect for those who want a base in the city centre, close to the train station, who just want somewhere to sleep in between exploring the city. My room was clean, comfortable with...

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
