We were going to Amsterdam for something a little bit different than normally travellers to this amazing city do so we were very picky when we got to our hotel choice. She had one criteria "on a canal" we'll this hotel checks that, it is located beautifully on a canal however not all rooms have canal view which is disappointing....

Stayed at Hotel from 21st - 25th May 2013. The hotel is in an excellent cental location explore Amsterdam from. The hotel is modern , celan and the staff were very helpful. Very good central hotel. Breakfast very good. At Rembrandt Entrance just across the road a fab Italian Restaurant where you went downstairs and Chefs made your pasta in front of you. Great value as eating out main course about 14 euros...not the best city for eating out but this restaurant was a great find. Also across the canal from Eden...

Hotel is well located Service is minimal Breakfast expensive as is all self service Room very small over powering large furniture room corridors very tired. Checkout was fast but no attempt by front desk to check if I had enjoyed my stay
