Just returned from a three night stay at this hotel with my boyfriend and we had a lovely time. We were greeted really well and offered a coffee on arrival as we did arrive rather early. The hotel itself is beautiful they currently have some lovely Christmas decorations. Very clean rooms with very comfortable beds (found it hard to get...

Great location, rooms are comfortable, in fact the bed was the most comfy we've experienced in a hotel. Close to the Museum Quarter, Shops and Restaurants. Just watch the mini bar - very expensive!. All in all a great stay - thank you.

My husband and I stayed here for a Friday and Saturday night while we spent the weekend exploring Amsterdam and weren't disappointed. Its in a great location to access all that the city has to offer being opposite a canal and next to a tram line and right near the museums. The breakfast on offer was probably the best quality...

Stayed here with my boyfriend over one of the august bank holidays. Arrived early for check-in and had to check out several hours before our flight - the staff were really accommodating, there was a cupboard to keep our cases in and changing facilities available. The hotel is in a great location really close to Vondelpark and the museum quarter,...

The unique advantage of this hotel is the location. It's very convenient and in the centre of the city. The hotel is a modern and yet refined. The guest room is quite nice and offers a very nice view overlooking the canal. My room is the corner room so I got a very nice view. The service wass ok and...

This property is very close to the Rjiks Museum Tram Station. Easy reachable from Central Station by a tram. The Check inn was very smooth. The room was nice but very small. The Wash room was extremely cramped. the Bed was comfortable and the room gave a good feel. I would recommend this hotel if u r ok with small...

I keep coming back here despite the options available. It's the mixture of good service and well designed comfortable rooms in a great location. This time I was up in the roof. Different style of room. What it lacked in canal views it made up for in cool design.

Having read some negative reviews, we were pleased to find that the room was what we wanted, all the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast in MOMO was very good. We could not understand how the negative reviews could be justified. Very good location for museums and boat trips

Stayed for 3 nights in November. This is a nice hotel - slightly more upmarket & trendy than a lot of the places in Amsterdam. Nice few finishing touches gave it the edge. Had a drink in the bar but didn't sample the food (menu impressive but on the expensive side). Staff very friendly and on hand to help. The...

My wife and I recently spent 4 nights at this hotel. It is perfectly situated less than a 5 minute walk from the Van Gogh and Rembrandt museums. I haven't experienced a more attentive and pleasant staff. They went put of their way to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
