I stayed at this hotel several times, before its major renovation and after. The hotels restaurant is AMAZING and I mean probably one of the best quality Japanese restaurant you will ever experience in your life. The staff in the hotel are so amazing they should open up a Okura hotel management course to train every other hotel on earth!...

I had great expectations and excitement at having found a five star Japanese hotel with the prospect of dining in the michelin starred Yamazato restaurant for our weekend trip to wonderful Amsterdam. So we booked stipulating that we would arrive at two thirty and we requested our rooms to be close to each other. We arrived at three thirty to find...

The room was small but that is to be expected in Amsterdam. Had the following issues: Nespresso not working properly, carpet needs cleaning, stain on drape lining, closet door chipped, sink drain leaks leaving a stain on the glass shelf below, closet light doesn't turn off. Did appreciate the 110v shaver socket. Reception, bellstaff & concierge all pleasant & helpful....

Hotel is fabulous although a little further away from the city then I thought. We visited the bar on the 23rd floor to enjoy the view - however the service was very poor we waited for 10 minutes and were told to wait that the barman would come to us - however they didn't!! Another customer was also told to...

My wife and I enjoyed 5 star experience at the Hotel Okura. The service was exceptional, the accommodations were ultra comfortable and the food/beverage was fantastic. The ambience and overall decor was refined, yet very comfortable. We will always return to the Okura whenever our travels include Amsterdam.

Overall, this is a brilliant hotel, its very well designed. The service is absolutely outstanding. Since we came in from a 13-hours-flight from Singapore early morning (08.30 am) and the room was supposed to be ready in the afternoon, we were offered to use the spa for relaxing and taking a shower, which was just great. Special thanks to the...

Stayed for three nights. It took less than 30 minutes drive by taxi from Schipol Airport. The location is convenient and quiet. The hotel building is quite old but very well maintained. Check in was smooth and thanks to my Leaders Club membership I was upgraded to a spacious corner room with a good view. The room was nicely furnished....

The terrace was a terrific setting to watch the canal boats drift by and to enjoy a glass of champagne (Okay a bottle) which improved my mood no end after a long journey. That was the beginning of the delights provided by this faultless hotel.Friendly efficient staff that gave the impression that nothing was too much trouble. Spacious interior designed...

I choose the hotel because of the view from the 23. floor bar. But the bar is small and not very cozy. There are much better skybars at other places. Even the service is perfect, the drinks are good. They took the best places for the restaurant... The hotel is what you expect: Fine lodging at a high price range....

Hotel Okura is in a lovely neighborhood along a canal with numerous shops and restaurants and just a short walk to tram stops. The room is spacious and well appointed. All the staff we encountered were anxious to be of help. Happy we chose this property as our base to see Amsterdam.
