Definitely a five star hotel with one or two drawbacks. Breakfast very expensive and also lukewarm. Bacon overdone, crispy and cold along with cold sausages. Doesn't warrant 29 euros. Staff first class. Hygiene and comfort excellent. Walls a bit thin, hence the earplugs that are provided. Would definitely stay here again but without breakfast

Couldn't fault this hotel from the moment I stepped foot through the door until I left. It is well presented throughout and has a nice cocktail bar and restaurant. The rooms are a decent size, well finished and the bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping does a great job keeping the place looking 5 star. My hotel of choice when I... More

The hotel was great located. Super clean and service was good. Staff was helpful. The only thing I would say is that is not a 5 star hotel, the breakfasts buffet is expensive and also the wifi charges are too much

I stayed in late November 2016. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioner was adequate. The room did have an odd smell though, like the inside of an old shoe. The walls are thin as well, they put earplugs in your room. High speed internet was only 1.5 - 2 Mbps. I had breakfast on... More

The hotel is nicely located about 5minutes from the main train station. We had booked online on their webpage, for a Saturday night, that are usually quite busy. It indeed was busy when we arrived around 9.30 am (we were on an early flight from Switzerland). Our rooms wasn't ready, and they offered to send us a text message whenever... More

I have stayed at this hotel a few different times and stayed there again this week. It is within walking distance to Amsterdam Central station and many activities in Amsterdam, including NEMO Science Museum, where we brought our daughter. Several very good restaurants very close to the hotel. As a general statement, the service was excellent this week. We were... More

Just back from a weekend in Renaissance Hotel & would highly recommend it. We took the train straight from Schipol Airport to Centraal Station tgen a 7 min walk to the hotel. Its also perfectly located for shopping around Dam Sq. The hotel is modern & bright, spotlessly clean & the staff simply cant do enough for you. The room... More

Very nice hotel. The rooms are small, but this is Amsterdam. Very accommodating staff, assisting with everything from scissors to bandaids (a plaster, as they call it) Second stay here. (Once in 2012 also)

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away.
