Up to its chain standards, this Marriott is also conveniently located outside of the noisy center of the city but close enough to it - basically at walking distance. The room was freshly renovated stylish, clean and luminous. Staff was Courteous and efficient, including the vallet parking personnel.

My husband was on business and we decided to make a family trip of it! Our family room was perfect for our family of four. The location was ideal for us right next to the largest park in the city vondelpark! We hired bikes and cycled around the park. Picked up canal boat trip across the road also. Breakfast had...

Just a word or two on the great cocktails Sherif makes there. In a word fantastic. He is also a charmer and a chatty person with excellent hints and tips on Ansterdam. The bar is also a place for locals who want a cocktail every so now and again.

We spent three days at the Amsterdam Marriott. I requested a remodeled room and was told by the staff that the remodeling is complete. Our room was very tastefully decorated. We actually did not spend very much time in the hotel room as we were out visiting all the sites. It is very close to many museums and the canal...

If your staying in Amsterdam try and find a different hotel, the room I had was very ordinary no towel racks, shower leaked, I think some rooms have been renovated but most certainly didn't have one. On the up side the staff were great very friendly.

We travel a lot and don't mind paying for nicer hotels but we expect to get what we pay for. This was not the case at the Marriott Amsterdam. We are Marriott Platinum members and reserved a jr suite and it wasn't available when we arrived. It took 3.5 hrs for a resolution. The manager rapidly explained options to us....

First, this Marriott, while not much to look at from the outside, has some huge rooms with outstanding views. Our room had just been remodeled, was immense, everything spic and span. Second, the executive lounge here is superb. Compared to the Brussels executive lounge in particular, the upgrade here is well worth it. Last, but certainly not least, the location...
