We stayed at the Hoxton for four nights over the first weekend in August and had a fantastic time. To start with, the location is perfect: right on Herengracht and within easy walking distance of the Nine Streets, the Jordaan, the museums (at a pinch, but the tram is v close too) and a big branch of Albert Heijn if...

Our Hoxton experience was wonderful. The design of the place is amazing, it feels very well thought off but without ever becoming overly hipster. The place is warm, homely, nice. The room we stayed in had a beautiful view over the Singel canal and was extremely well appointed. It's classic Amsterdam canal house chic and contemporary retro slick at the...

Had a great stay at the Hoxton! All staff were super nice and flexible, let us get room early, upgraded us to canal view and let us have a late check out (against a small charge) Breakfast is cool as you get a bag left at your door with juice, banana and granola. Will tell all my friends to stay...

Just opened The Hoxton is in a great location about a 20 min walk from central station in the picturesque 9 streets area. It's recently opened having been totally refurbished. We opted for one of the more expensive large rooms with a canal view. Our room was up in the rafters and big though anyone above 6' would find it...

This brand new hotel is located very central, at the cannel, close to tram and other city attractions. The staff is very nice and extremely helpful. All hip and trendy. The rooms are a bit small but very tasteful decorated. Also the lobby/bar looks nice and homey. They offer great food and drinks, all day long. Great that there is...

The location, lobby and guest room was great! We Really enjoyed this hotel during our three night stay. Reception staff was friendly, informative and efficient. A breakfast bag was delivered to the door every morning, and that was great since we don't really want a big breakfast buffét anyway. We only ate at the restaurant one evening but didn't really...

Best Bits: - The location; situated along one of Amsterdam's prettiest canals. Great for getting around; close to all the main tram stops and key attractions. - Warm and welcoming atmosphere - it was laid back and casual and always felt good to return to the hotel after a day out. - The staff ; we couldn't fault their enthusiasm...

There were cobwebs on the ceiling lights right above the bed and a spider beside the bed. Complained next morning at the reception, and was assured room will be cleaned properly, but to our shock, it hadn't been cleaned. Given it was midnight, and we were in no mood to change rooms at that hour, we let it be. I...

We went to stay for a night at the new hotel in Amsterdam and we enjoyed every bit of it. It's location in the heart of the city, alongside the canal is absolutely fabulous.
