The staff were nice and the hotel was very clean but the room was tiny.it all looks great on the website but seriously for nearly €400 for 2 nights i would have expected a better room. The room was really basic and the bathroom is in the bedroom only seperated by a glass door which doesnt allow for any privacy,...

I absolutely love this hotel. It was my birthday the day I arrived, there were balloons on the door and a tray on the bed with a bottle of Red wine two glasses, chocolate and a rose serviette with happy birthday sprinkles. The staff couldnt be more friendly and helpful, especially Bruno who even found me a walking stick when...

This is a great hotel in the perfect area. Walking distance to Central Station, Dam Square, Red Light District and Chinatown. Our room and was on the smaller side but the location and price are worth it. Yes, bathroom is small but adds to the "charm" of the room. We stayed in a deluxe room with a city view for...

Enjoyed every minute at this hotel! Yes, the rooms are small but that doesn't matter. The location of the hotel is amazing and it's really clean and well kept so you get what you pay for. Lots of comments on the reviews about the bathrooms. Lots of hotels have glass bathroom doors and walls so that's not a big deal....

Great location but our "DeLux" room was anything but. It was very basic, far too cramped, with furniture facing the wrong way and not enough room to swing a cat. Definitely not a room for two unless you're looking for a cozy, intimate over-priced shoebox. The TV was literally at your feet at the end of the bed and somehow...

Booked with Booking.com and if you do too, beware of the small print which apparently exists saying they will freeze money on your card AND take full payment on arrival. The money is returned when you get home. Fortunately we were ok but not everyone may see this and budget for it. There was no hotel bar, only a small...

The biggest advantage of this hotel is location. It's really in the city center. 5 min walk to Dam square, central station and nightlife. The room was small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast- on the level of 4 star hotel. Next time I'd stay there again.

I selected this hotel based on the number of total reviews and the amount of positive ones. It is located 5 minutes walking from the main train station and many sights. The staff were very friendly throughout the 4 nights I stayed and managed well the constant flow of guests. On the 2nd day I had an issue with the...

The room was tiny with no view whatsoever, There was about a foot of space to walk past the end of the bed but the tv was on that wall so it was difficult to walk past it without knocking into it. The bathroom was also very small and there was nowhere to put your personal stuff except on the...

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and we have no complaints. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, hotel is very clean and it is in a great location. Would definitely recommend staying here! Breakfast can be included in price or if you just want to have the breakfast one morning, you just had to let the staff know the...

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
