It was great to stay at Mirjam's boat last month! The standard room is very comfortable: the bed, shower and temperature were perfect. The breakfast she brings every morning is delicious: orange juice, fruits, yogurt, cheese, croissants... The view from the room is special and the...More

I have booked the standard twin room (as oppose to the basic twin room) and I'm a little confused by the picture of a living area and kitchen. Is this a shared space which both occupants can use or is this a separate area we won't have access to?

I have used the reservation form on Houseboat Little Amstel's web site three times in the past 1.5 weeks and have not received a reply to my request for reservations. It appears that they are no longer using any Trip Advisor booking partners. Did anyone else encounter reservation problems? If so, do you have any suggestions?

It's half an hour walk, but you can also take the tram, which will get you there in 15 minutes. We preferred to walk, as it's a nice stroll through Amsterdam!
