Messed up original booking - ended up sleeping in my brother's room on the first night. Put-up bed they gave had all middle slats missing - disgraceful. Unhelpful staff, would hate to think what would have happened if I had travelled alone.

Response from Nicole Lagas, General Manager at The Manor Amsterdam
Responded yesterday
Dear Btuffr789629, First of all, thank you for taking the time and effort to complete the questionnaire and to make your comments known to us. Our guests feedback and impressions are very important to us because we see it as means to improve our services every day. At the evening you checked in we have spoken with each other on the phone about the first night, I’m really shocked to reat that the bed was broken where you have to sleep in the first night and the staff was not helpfull. I have shared your experience with our team and general manager, in order to keep improving our level of service. We do understand that this cannot change the experience you have had in our hotel anymore. We hope you will give us a second chance, so that we may have an opportunity to convince you that your recent experience is most unusual for us. To show you the improvements we hope you will give us a second chance. Then we will personally look after your reservation please contact me jill.reenalda-lamme@edenhotels.nl and will execute any additional arrangement for your stay. Kind regards Jill Reenalda-Lamme Front Office Manager

Was a good stay at the hotel. The staff were extra friendly and helpful. The rooms had a mini fridge which was very useful. The bathrooms were amazing and very modern. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Lovely quirky hotel. Former hospital converted into an artistic hotel on the East side of Amsterdam. Walking distance from Muiderpoort train station which is only one stop from Centraal Station. Oosterpark is just across the road.

Our stay at the Manor was great from start to finish. The staff were very helpful. The rooms was very nice (would have liked a bath) the beds were Uber comfortable, all in all I would recommend it. We will be back. The Barlow’s from England.

1 was supposed to come in June 2020, but due to COVID, I had to delay twice and the hotel and Expedia were very helpful in the rescheduling, I got to the hotel at 8am due to an overnight flight and they had my room ready and let me check in . The room is quite large for Europe, clean, modern , coffee, tea. The beds are firm and with windows closed quiet. With the windows open you will here the traffic and trams. Close to Muiderport station, 1 stop from central station. You need to show proof of vaccinations and passport to check in
