My wife and I wanted to celebrate a special birthday with a weekend in Amsterdam. I contacted The Dylan directly and was offered an excellent rate by Carol specifically, the reservations and revenue manager. The communication with Carol was friendly and excellent, we were already looking forward to our stay and we were not to be disappointed, The Dylan is...

We really enjoyed our stay here. All the small details are attended to, from the welcome warming tea at reception at check in, to sitting by the fire in the lounge with wine into the wee small hours. The room was a good size with a decent wardrobe and washing area. The breakfast was plentiful with eggs included cooked how...

I am truly sorry to give only two stars to an otherwise top hotel. They Dylan is chic and stylish. The staff is excellent. The common areas very attractive. The food first-rate. The problems are that the room had terrible lighting. One could not see to put on make up or shave. Even when additional lights were supplied by the...

This is a beautiful hotel to stay right in the center of Amsterdam, the restaurants and bar at the hotel are amazing. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need to make your stay amazing. Go to the bar and ask for dutch gin and enjoy the view of the inner patio.

A beautifully decorated hotel, in a modern style, felt much more like someone's slightly eccentric house than a hotel. Staff were super helpful and the hotel was just such a pleasure to come back to in the evening and lounge in. There are a few different areas to sit in - the courtyard, a kind of library space /bar and...

Such a great, hip hotel. Loved the understated and refined, but groovy vibe. The configuration of our suite was a little weird with the bathroom upstairs and bedroom downstairs. The quiet canal location in the middle of the nine streets was perfect.

It is amazing what they did in such limited space. They preserve most of the charm of the old building and fresh it up with modern details. Having lots of black and dark colors, cleaning interior poses great challenge but I must say it was maintained spotless. Bar, breakfast area and brasserie are in one common space, from the bar...

We stayed at the Dylan for a long weekend to visit Amsterdam. The Dylan occupies a perfect, central canal side location. All main tourist attractions are within a short walk. Service was excellent, 5 star, friendly, personal & yet understated..... perfect. We stayed in 2 interconnecting canal view junior suites. Large rooms, very comfortable, contemporary styling & clean modern bathrooms....

The service at The Dylan was incomparable to any hotel I have ever been a guest at. I have stayed in fine hotels, but The Dylan is in a class by themselves (from my experience).
