It is amazing what they did in such limited space. They preserve most of the charm of the old building and fresh it up with modern details. Having lots of black and dark colors, cleaning interior poses great challenge but I must say it was maintained spotless. Bar, breakfast area and brasserie are in one common space, from the bar...

We stayed at the Dylan for a long weekend to visit Amsterdam. The Dylan occupies a perfect, central canal side location. All main tourist attractions are within a short walk. Service was excellent, 5 star, friendly, personal & yet understated..... perfect. We stayed in 2 interconnecting canal view junior suites. Large rooms, very comfortable, contemporary styling & clean modern bathrooms....

The service at The Dylan was incomparable to any hotel I have ever been a guest at. I have stayed in fine hotels, but The Dylan is in a class by themselves (from my experience). I would stay here again any time. The Hotel Staff, including Concierge, Bar, & Restaurant staff were outstandingly welcoming, approachable, and warm. This hotel as...

My wife and I stayed for 7 nights in December 2016 at The Dylan. I can understand why the hotel is in the Small Luxury Hotels List, as it was a wonderful stay! We would return again without any hesitation. Location (2/2) - well away from the seedy red light district and on a quiet yet lively street facing a...

We had the luxury of spending our wedding night here and it was an excellent experience. The room was superb, the breakfast delicious, but our biggest compliments go out to the staff. They really made this special stay extra special. Outstanding service from the nicest of people. We will be back, eventhough we live in this city :)

We loved this place. The location - perfect. On the Keizergracht canal, a beautiful quiet "street", on the corner of the "9 streets". You're minutes away from everything -- the Leidesplein, the Old City, the museums... Our room was great (no view though), spacious, clean, fully equipped. The breakfast very good - not huge amounts but everything very high quality....

Found this almost by accident. Awesome boutique hotel with a massive garden (not really needed in December but very rare in this district). Courageous and fresh design and an amazing transformation of a couple of warehouses knocked together. Superb bar. All very cozy !

The location and many features of this hotel are excellent as one would expect of a hotel at its rating. The high wine was a highlight and definitely worth visiting for, if not staying. The charming bistro staff might like to consult the establishment's English language menu for help with vocab on the ingredients. However, what knocks this review into...
