25 former houses cleverly assembled into a meandering maze of unique rooms and great common areas. Killer bar; restaurant is great for breakfast or lunch; they even have their own private launch for canal tours (these book quickly so reserve this when you reserve your room --- 1000% better than the tourist boats). Sits in the heart of the 9...

A lovely boutique hotel with a homely and welcoming ambiance. The staff were exceptional and so kind and helpful which as a disabled person I found most reassuring, nothing was too much trouble for these lovely people. The friendliest hotel that we have ever stayed in.

The location is ideal and is accessible to all the tourist spots. The hotel is beautifully renovated and I think it has a great personality which is lacking in the hotel industry right now. The restaurant is good, but I think the bar could have been done better. In general, wonderful stay and service was good.

This is a classy hotel, recent full renovation with excellent fit out. Things did not start so well - no room until 430 pm and then a 2 level room on a higher level - bathroom and sitting area on 1 level and then bed up a steep staircase ( think attic room for your kids). Requested a room change...

Spent five nights here while attending an international professional conference at the RAI. This is a wonderful five star hotel along a major canal, consisting of a block of canal homes that have been modernized and converted to spacious, well equipped hotel rooms. Terrific service from the moment we arrived. Location is a short walk from the center of old...

We have been fortunate enough to stay in a variety of hotels in the past but I have to say the the Pulitzer is in a different class. The staff were exceptional; genuinely friendly, extremely knowledgeable and helpful beyond the call of duty. We stayed in a King-size room overlooking the canals which was beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and which...

Stayed here four nights with friends, hotel made up of several Amsterdam houses put together making a bit of a rabbit warren effect. Up & down stairs, long walks to breakfast. Very small rooms with minimal hanging & storage space. Just a couple of hangers & no place to hang more clothes if you had more. Comfortable bed & small...

We loved staying at the Pulitzer, even though it took us a while to learn how to find our elevator! We had a fourth floor room overlooking the canal - quiet with a great view. Don't miss the hotel's canal boat tour, their in-house restaurant Jansz, and the tulip tour (when in season). Concierge Dominique van de Bovenkamp was particularly...

The Pulitzer is a few minutes walk from Ann Frank house and offers five star hospitality in a site that extends backwards to include properties in the street behind. Decor is tasteful. The garden area is very pleasant. Our room was very comfortable, new with a traditional flavour, and a nice bathroom. The bed offered a perfect night's sleep with...

Great location, hip with a nice vibe, friendly staff and great outdoors and indoors lounge, bar and eating areas make this an excellent choice when considering a hotel in Amsterdam!!! If you are lucky enough to book a canal view room it's worth the extra money, though some of the garden facing rooms are superb as well. If you have...
