My son and I spent 3 nights at the Pulitzer as part of a trip celebrating his 25th B'day. We were impressed with service, comfort and attention to detail - including a delicious Tira mi Su birthday cake. We both loved all the quirky antiques and the way they have connected all the separate houses with glassed-in walk ways and...

I have stayed here three times now and don't even want to think about staying anywhere else when I travel to Amsterdam. The rooms are beautifully decorated, cosy while also being luxurious and I always get the feeling of being at home away from home. The staff are second to none and have always ensured you feel extremely valued. As...

The check-in staff are OK, in other respects it is disappointing. For almost GBP300 a night, it should get the basics right, but instead we have pretentious gimmicks. Our room had a bicycle suspended from the rafters - hey, that's cool! - but no soundproofing, so that the noises from outside are distracting. The local church bells - which ring...

We stayed at the Pulitzer for a long weekend and had a Canal view room overlooking the Prinsengracht. The staff are uniformly professional, helpful, polite and knowledgeable. Pulitzer's Bar is a great place for a cocktail or two and there's a gym if you want to burn off some calories. We did both the walking tour and the boat trip....

First off, I am so glad I chose this hotel for the first part of our family trip to Amsterdam. Upon our early arrival after 10hr flight we were warmly greeted and our room was ready. Great start! The lobby is quirky, yet inviting and the concierge were always on duty and I rank them in the top two of...

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Quirky but extremely comfortable. Just a cool place. It seamlessly incorporates the multiple buildings that make up the property, the public spaces between them, and the interesting art and furniture into this great whole. It's also in a great location, and the service is great.

My daughter and I spent five nights for her 21st birthday. Everything was wonderful. We had a beautiful canal view room. The bed is one of the most comfortable we've slept on in a hotel. Highly recommend the excursion on the hotel's canal boat.

A few important points to frame my comments: I stayed here for five nights on a pleasure trip (en route to Capetown) at the recommendation of a business colleague. Also, while for Amsterdam this is an expensive hotel, compared to other major cities like New York, it is rather a bargain, especially for all you get. So, go for it....
