Our tour company selected the Pulitzer Amsterdam for a night's stay prior to our cruise of the Netherlands and Belgium. The hotel was excellent in all respects. The staff at reception, the concierge, the look of the hotel with lovely flowers everywhere marked it as outstanding. The hotel is in a series of houses now connected. Our room was on...

Location - perfect! Comfort - perfect! Decor - perfect! Staff - more than perfect! Stayed 3 nights with a friend to explore Amsterdam as well as visit Keukenhof Gardens. It's pretty much clear that the Pulitzer is one of the best hotels in Amsterdam. The experience of staying in a antique amsterdam house, with its history written in a nice frame inside your room was very interesting. Although the hotel uses a series of old houses, it's refurbished with good quality furniture and a decent sized bedroom and bathroom,...

Overall this is a nice hotel, comprised of 25 traditional, Dutch canal houses that offer scenic views of the canal or the lovely interior courtyard. It is located in a safe neighborhood.. Room Room with a canal view gave an opportunity to observe lots of life and activities – birds singing, bicyclists, canal boats and great for people watching. Room...

The Pulitzer is perfectly located and has gorgeous rooms, great restaurants and wonderful customer service. The rooms are recently renovated and are first class. If you can, we recommend the breakfast buffet at least once - It is one of the best we have had. We look forward to returning.

25 former houses cleverly assembled into a meandering maze of unique rooms and great common areas. Killer bar; restaurant is great for breakfast or lunch; they even have their own private launch for canal tours (these book quickly so reserve this when you reserve your room --- 1000% better than the tourist boats). Sits in the heart of the 9...

Dear Robert M, Thank you for sharing your experience at Pulitzer Amsterdam! The Pulitzer is indeed the perfect spot to enjoy yourself in the 25 unique, historical canal houses. All with their own story, which makes it very special to wander through the hallways and this gives you a small insight in the rich history of Amsterdam. At restaurant Jansz....

The location is ideal and is accessible to all the tourist spots. The hotel is beautifully renovated and I think it has a great personality which is lacking in the hotel industry right now. The restaurant is good, but I think the bar could have been done better. In general, wonderful stay and service was good.

Dear JusticM, Thank you for this wonderful comment. It is a pleasure to learn that you have enjoyed our recent renovation. It took 18 months to complete, but it was well worth it and we are glad you like the result. Have you wandered around and discovered the little surprises and artwork in the nooks on the various hallways? Please...

This is a classy hotel, recent full renovation with excellent fit out. Things did not start so well - no room until 430 pm and then a 2 level room on a higher level - bathroom and sitting area on 1 level and then bed up a steep staircase ( think attic room for your kids). Requested a room change...

Spent five nights here while attending an international professional conference at the RAI. This is a wonderful five star hotel along a major canal, consisting of a block of canal homes that have been modernized and converted to spacious, well equipped hotel rooms. Terrific service from the moment we arrived. Location is a short walk from the center of old...

We have been fortunate enough to stay in a variety of hotels in the past but I have to say the the Pulitzer is in a different class. The staff were exceptional; genuinely friendly, extremely knowledgeable and helpful beyond the call of duty. We stayed in a King-size room overlooking the canals which was beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and which...
