A fabulously, warm and welcoming B&B, with excellent hosts and situated in a brilliant location, within seconds of Dam square. Althought you do share a bathroom with the other guest room, this was never a problem and it was kept immaculately clean. We were given clean towels every day and there was always a surplus amount of tea, coffee, hot...

An excellent location, close to the train station, restaurants, shops etc. The room was very comfortable and clean and surprisingly quiet based on its central location in the city. The breakfast was outstanding. It fueled us for several hours of sightseeing. Although you do have to share a bathroom, we didn't experience any waiting or issues with that. Camillo was...

A great place to stay. We were made to feel so welcome it was like a home from home. They couldn't do enough for us and the breakfast was out of this world. The guest house is in an ideal location in the very centre of Amsterdam near the train station, shopping centre and night life yet it was also...

Although this cost us a little more than we wanted to pay it was definitely worth it. The place is in a great location in the city with easy access to everything but the best part are the hosts and the lovely rooms. They provide a lovely breakfast and are more than happy to help with any questions or make...

We stayed at the B& B for two nights. It is conveniently located to the train station which is wonderful and in a great location to be able to explore the city. Camillo was very friendly and helpful. He gave us directions around the city and recommendations- it was like having our own personal concierge. The rooms were wonderful and...

I only got to stay here for one night, but I honestly wished I could have stayed longer. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated, the bathroom was great, and Camillo was the nicest man I've ever met! We had to leave early in the morning, but he went ahead and made us breakfast an hour earlier than the...

My wife and I, as well as her cousins, spent two wonderful nights at this bed and breakfast. It is centrally located in Amsterdam and only a 5-10 minute walk from the train station. Although just off a main street the actual bed and breakfast is located in a small quite side street. I was a little concerned by the...

We had a great stay at the City Center Bed and Breakfast. The rooms are very short walk from the main train station and the owners are really friendly. We were especially impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms.

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
