I was a bit skeptical about this booking because it was so cheap for Amsterdam so I didn't know what to expect. We really couldn't have asked for more, it is one of the best budget hotels I have ever stayed in. The location is brilliant as you are only a short walk from Central Station, you are overlooking one...

Stayed her with a friend at the start of Feb and where do I start... The room was spacious and bright. The room over looked the canal which was great and there were 3 plug sockets in the rooms. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. There is a small safe under the sink for you to store...

I never stayed there, but a friend and I wanted to next summer. However we realized our flight gets in late, and the front desk would not be open. Liberty hotel fully refunded us despite the fact that our reservation was supposedly non-refundable. Wonderful to work with and very much appreciated!!!

This is a good budget hotel. Little 10 min walk from Central station and closeby trams/bus or a nice walk to the city centre. Room was busic, little but clean. Steep staircase, no elevator. Wahing table at the room, toilet and shower down the hall. Breakfast is fresh made from the owner and in the price included. Free wifi.

My friend and I stayed for three nights last week and loved it! Fantastic location and an excellent room, great to be able to sit by the window and have a smoke. The free tea/coffee 24-7 and breakfast in the morning were a massive plus! You can use the kitchen whenever you like so great for having a couple of...

Stayed here with a friend for one night a few weeks ago, booked it due to its low price and it's location, really wish I hadn't. The room was tiny, with a bunkbed in the corner, and painted an awful shade of green which made it look and feel like a prison cell. The shared bathroom was extremely small and...

The hostal is located near the main train station which makes it very convenient. We had a view to the canal so it was a privilege to wake up with such a great scene. The building is quite old so the stairs and the bathroom were tiny. Breakfast was made to order and it was absolutely delicious. The mosquitoes and...

My partner and I stayed for four nights in August 2016 and found the hotel excellent value for money. The staff Shalina, who is from Amsterdam, and Kim were really helpful and approachable about places to go/avoid - we spent about an hour after breakfast just chatting with Shalina about anything and everything! Kim cooks great scrambled eggs to order...

Neighbourhood Profile
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
