Stayed in a room of four before a cycling trip. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice bathroom for the room, and in a location with a supermarket and shops within a short walking distance. There were no communal areas unfortunately or catering facilities but this was fine for a quick sleep before travelling.

Where to begin. We arrived at the hostel not realising it is a theme hostel, the theme being hotels in a post apocalyptic world. There were even 2 fellow travellers led on chairs and I can only assume they were dead as they didn't move for a good 20 minutes. We arrived at the hostel with the man behind the...

The man at reception was the rudest and least welcoming man I have ever met. Terrible human being, should work in a different industry where he doesnt have to consider being nice or making a good impression. Perhaps a morgue. The room is dirty, small and the window did not shut. Avoid.

Room was like a prison cell only had a table with 3 chairs dotted around it with 4 bunk beds squeezed into it, bathroom was ok but not as clean as expected, quite a noisy neighbourhood too. Plenty of shops on the road the hotel is on and there is a coffeeshop to buy hash/weed about 10 mins walk from...

The room is like an ordinary hostel rooms with 3 two-stages beds and a bathroom inside. One problem - when we came back late at night we discovered somebody else was in one of ours beds! There were 7 people in a room for six! A man at the reception refused to solve that problem saying he is not a...

I was quite far from the city centre, but easily accessible with the train line 14. Takes about 35-40mins. Chose this hostel because it was cheap compared to other hostels in the city centre. This hostel is also near the bus station (sloterjik), 7mins by bus and it stops right outside of the hostel. So it was good for us....

The hotel is more a hostel. My room was very small with bunk beds and a giant pillar in the middle of the room. There was no space to put our luggage. Room was boiling hot with no fan and the location is far away from the city of Amsterdam. Rooms weren't very clean and shower pressure was horrible. Stayed...
