Well if you wish that you would be in Amsterdam and near Van Gogh's mind blowing museum then this is the place. Anne Franks house, Rembrandt house and the Rikki Museum all through walking. A dream come true place!

Really didn't know what to expect with this but have to say we really enjoyed it. Yes it's on an old barge, yes there are very steep steps to get in, yes there is no en-suit and yes a cat couldn't swing a mouse around in the room. That said though as a family for one night with back-packs it...

This boat hostel is great for a short stay. Don't expect much luxury, rooms are very basic and oldish. Breakfast is from 9-10am. 5 types of bread, yogurt, juice, cereals, coffee, milk, 3 types of marmalade, butter, ... More then enough. Showers aren't the best but more then adequate for couple of days. Ideal to meet some other travel guests....

I went to Amsterdam for two days and I passed there one night, the rooms were small and short, two people could hardly fit inside of it. I slept on room 2 and on that bed I got fleas and now I have got an infection. At night when I was arriving there were rats nearby, it really isn't a...

Neat houseboat with rather small cabins but very conveniently located. Decent breakfast and accomodating host. We enjoyed our short stay and are happy we chose Anna Maria 2. The tulips sprouted around the day we were in Holland making this even more memorable. Very safe and cool place to stay.

My family and I slept over about a week ago. It was a wonderful experience with friendly staff and an incredible breakfast. The only complaint is that the bunks are dreadfully short and it was a bit awkward to sleep. If you're short then it is perfect.

I was nervous about staying on this boat, the whole way to Amsterdam I was expecting the worst. But although small, the hospitality, food and even teeny room were brilliant. Not only was the boat super central, but the two hosts were very welcoming and the free breakfast everyday was amazing! Would definitely return.

What did I like? It's a boat. I enjoyed the stay there and had no problem. The breakfast was also very good and abundant. The shower and the rooms are warm, no problem there. What I didn't like? They made me pay by cash, while Credit Card should be possible a form of payment. The only downside of the place...
