Very satisfied with my stay at the Alp Hotel the rooms were exactly as in the pictures on their website. The room was spacious with a private balcony & a spa tub it was more than enough room for 2. Daily housekeeping staff is very good the room was cleaned everyday also leaving an apple & chocolate on our pillows...

Nice friendly clean hotel, good continental breakfast, fresh towels every day. Reason not 5 for me room was very small, on 4th floor up very narrow steep stairs, so if not so fit ask for a room on lower floors. Looking at floor plans for each floor there are bigger rooms available. Rooms at front of building can be noisy...

Good location with tram right outside. Excellent service on arrival. Free hot drinks 24/7. Julie was an excellent hostess and also booked our excursions for us. I would not recommend it if you have trouble with stairs. We were on the 4th floor with no lift and very steep stairs. The shower in our room was terrible. I complained but...

I've stayed here a couple of times now and I can't fault it. The rooms are clean and well presented my favourite room is the one at the top with balcony and spa bath, just what you need after a long days walk!... Beds are comfy too. Although there's a lot of stairs to the top! Keeps you fit!... Breakfast...

We arrived straight from Schiphol Airport on the Route 197 Airport Bus, which dropped us of, only 5 minutes walk from the Hotel. We were welcomed warmly in this family run establishment, offered a complimentary drink and given a mini-briefing on Amsterdam and places to visit - a really nice touch! We had requested a room on a lower floor...

Arrived to a friendly welcome, immediately offered a drink. Shown to a seat and given information, including map of Amsterdam and places to visit, also a list of nearby recommended eating places, two of which we used and were good, Moeders being best for Dutch food experience. The room was lovely and clean, on back of building overlooking the garden...

We flew into Amsterdam and stayed here one night. Room was small, but was really all we needed. Staff was friendly, except for one woman who tried to charge us 5€ (cash) for our room key. We disputed it and she quickly dismissed it. Decent location if you want to be near Jordaan.

Great location for getting around the city by tram or on foot. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Having a welcome drink was a nice touch. The room and bathroom were small but having doors onto the balcony gave more space and it was nice to let the breeze in at night when it got warm. Good value and...

The staff are fantastic, so nice and very helpful. Breakfast each day was fresh and delicious and so much choice we ate differently each day, even better as it saved us...

Stayed three nights. Nice clean room; great breakfast; free tea and coffee and fruit all day. Stairs are very narrow and steep but I expected this. The only issue I had was an unpleasant conversation with the front desk person my last morning shortly before checking out. I arrived downstairs to get coffee at 7:00 a.m., noticed that the breakfast...
