Terrible and irresponsible staff. I dont suggest anybody to spend his money here. It is impossible to communicate with them, they dont check their e-mails and other notifications, nobody was available on check in after 22:00.

The hotel is on the last ring of canals around center of Amsterdam in typical Amsterdam old building, with large windows and narrow halls and steep staircase. The room was very narrow (cca. 1,8 m) but long and with high ceiling, so I had a feeling of spaciousness. Bathroom was private with toilet and a shower, though the basin is...

can't fault the hotel. Room was clean. Fresh and good Quailty mattress and bedding, fantastic shower. We got lucky not having to climb any stairs other than entrance steps which is a bonus in Amsterdam. Our room even had a balcony overlooking the rear patio. It was only a 15-20min walk from Rembrandt square but a good 35-40min from central...

Travelled with two backpacks and there was not enough room to comfortably fit them in the room and move around freely. The bathroom was so small that we couldn't actually close the door when sitting on the toilet. However, the location was brilliant, and we had a great view from our room.

We booked a twin room, when we arrived we were told that they had no twin rooms available so had to share a double. Reception did however change is to a twin room the next day overlooking the garden with a small balcony. The bathrooms were small but very clean, the showers were power showers too. The rooms were clean...

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. However the room was on the small side, very small to be honest. The bathroom was room like a wet room than a bathroom. Once we'd had a shower the whole bathroom was wet all day. And the hotel wasn't exactly in the city centre was a...

Our room was very simplistic with the bed pushed up against the wall, and en-suite was small. It was comfy and quite clean but not perfect, lots of marks on wall etc. The room was right beside reception so we could hear everything that was going on, every conversation and phone call, every cough and sneeze. I would definitely recommend...

Clean but incredibley small. Pictures are very deceiving. There wasn't enough room between the beds to walk you had to shuffle round everywhere. I would pay more for somewhere bigger as it was difficult getting washed and dressed

On our third stay at the hotel Iris over three years, we were pleased to see it was as clean and comfy as always. The rooms are very basic but are always immaculate and well equipped for the price. We will be back.

Was given a quad room when I booked for a double room. May due to fully book that day so I am lucky. The room is comfy and clean. Location may not perfect but is accessible by tram about 7 stops. The walkway inside the hotel is small but was OK. Staff is friendly.
