For a quick city trip, this is a great central location. The price is worth it, although we opted out of the 25-Euro breakfast, since there are plenty of options within walking distance that are way less expensive. We spent the money on parking in stead, conveniently located across from the hotel. The rooms were nice and clean and the...

No big complaints about the room, though the bathroom was small. The hotel staff was nice, we got there early planning to just leave our bags and they instead checked us into a room that was ready without us even asking. The location was great, plenty of nearby restaurants and close to a bus stop if you need it. The...

We just returned from a trip to Holland and stayed a few nights at this hotel in Maastricht. The building is old and most rooms are fairly small, however accommodations were very clean, quiet, and comfortable. I thought the beds were a bit too soft but, other than that, everything else was terrific. Overall, we loved staying there and would...

We decided to stay for Christmas, the room we had was very small and had an awful smell in th bathroom! We told the receptionist about that smell and he just sprayed a whole deodorant in the room! He put so much that we thought we were about to suffocate. Didn't propose to offer us something for that inconvenience! Moreover,...

The 20 hotels ranked above Hotel DuCasque must be really very good indeed, because we found it excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly and the rooms were totally comfortable. The bathrooms look to have been very recently refurbished, and to a high standard. Would recommend this hotel highly.

We had a very large family room with a lovely big bathroom. Paid extra for a good breakfast. Maastricht is a nice town. Good meal in gauchos next door which was much cheaper than the London restaurant. Expensive parking.

Attending the Andre Rieu Concert this hotel was ideally located right next to the Vrijhof where the concert was held. On our second night you could listen in the street and finished the evening listening to the music from the bedroom with the window open. (The rooms at the back are quieter and you hear nothing with the window closed.)...

The location was perfect for the Andre Rieu concert. Tea making in the room and the bag of biscuits was a nice touch. Lady in restaurant offered us food to take for our journey home, never had that in any hotel we've stayed at before. Very comfortable beds and everywhere spotlessly clean. No bar or anywhere to relax with other...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In January and February 2014 the hotel has been completely restyled. Recently Amrath Hotel DuCasque has opened its doors again and you are more welcome than ever before. The Boutique Hotel Maastricht is very unique. The monumental building is located on the Vrijthof in the heart of this historic city. Amrath Hotel Ducasque is decorated in Art Deco style, which results in an authentically styled decor hotel in Maastricht. Maastricht is one of the most historical cities within the Netherlands. It is full of restaurants, shops, boutiques and narrow streets, resulting in a pleasant town to shop. The 1590 different monumental objects within the city create a great atmosphere. It is also possible to visit various museums including the 'Bonnefantenmuseum' and 'Bisschopsmolen': the oldest, still working watermill Netherlands. ... more   less
