The regular emails prior to our arrival made us feel confident and well informed. We started our weekend with a lovely lunch at the Royal Oak and from then on it got better and better....

I spent a weekend here with 27 friends for my 50th birthday, I whole heartily recommend The Crewe & Harpur. The large house and the 3 cottages are equally as lovely. The surrounding area, village and amenities are also great. We had so much fun.

The whole pub and cottages were beautifully decorated and the idea of having your own bar for the weekend was fab! The events and caterers the Crewe and Harpur recommended were fab too! Will definitely be back at this...

After a four hour drive we were met with smile and our room was ready. I had already received a phone call to ensure there were enough beds for the children and the service was just as good when we got there. Breakfast is tasty, and Ann, who served us was very attentive with a great sense of humour. She...

The accommodation was great for those wanting to stay as family units in the 3 gorgeous cottages, and for the others in the lovely en-suite rooms in the main building. The decor and facilities inside and out were all excellent. We had 2 barrels of beer, and added cocktails and soft drinks...
