We booked a table for dinner and were not disappointed the staff were very nice and the food served in good sized portions and very tasty. Happy to recommend this for dinner we will be back. The pub has a nice ambiance being historic with open fires that will be fantastic in the winter.

This was once my favourite restaurant to eat, but sadly no more, although the décor and quality of the food remain the same, the service is now awful. A 45 minute wait between courses is unacceptable, with no apology and just a blank stare from the staff when this was mentioned!! A change of veg was requested and when this...

This place has hit the sweet spot... it's as near to the perfect Cotswold dining experience you can get without going to a private dinner party. The team have obviously worked hard to make their brand of hospitality seem effortless. The menu is well formulated and we went for a Sunday lunch and I was actually somewhat in awe of...

Our first visit to the fox, it was excellent! Lovely pub with brilliant attentive staff (Jack). The most gorgeous food, all six of us enjoyed our different meals. The chicken with risotto was superb!! Great prices great value! Will definitely be back!!

I went with my wife and daughter for my 60th birthday for lunch having travelled for a hour ,the service was just not friendly, yes they did their job but no real welcome, no asking if this table was ok, and not once did they ask if food was satisfactory. It's a shame but I get the impression because so...

Fantastic roast lunch. I was treated to a Fathers Day lunch of Cheese Soufflé to start, then roast beef followed by a delicious lemon posset. We drank a wonderful bottle of red recommended to us, perfect with the Sunday roast. Consistently excellent.

We had a family reunion here just last weekend and the staff at The Fox were amazing. We had a separate room 'The Green Room' and the service and food was excellent. We then moved into the bar area for a few liqueurs. We had a lovely day and would definitely recommend this pub/restaurant.

I hadn't been to The Fox for many years. It's had a facelift and a change of ownership since then, but remains as popular as ever. We enjoyed a beautiful lunch with friends, particularly the nicely crafted English menu items which were all outstanding. A great choice for lunch in this part of the Cotswolds

went here as looked to be perfect for an evening meal whilst staying in Cotswolds, decided to call in the night before, have a relaxing drink, peruse the surroundings before eating there the next night. Nowhere to sit and have a drink, 4 barstools, all tables set for dining, welcome cool, uninviting, sat down anyway but felt somewhat uncomfortable with...

I visited The Fox for Sunday lunch with friends who booked the table so it wouldn't have been polite of me to complain there and then, but I was furious about the poor quality of my meal. A staple Sunday lunch dish for any English country pub restaurant must be Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding but The Fox failed badly....
