This is a very unique experience that you cannot find anywhere else in SA. I've done Kruger and other nature parks. But here your assured of getting closer to lions and a few tigers. Best part is the you get to do it in an ethical and charitable way. Highly recommended.

Helpful and friendly staff. Organized resort. Game drive was interesting, although needs a bit more information from the Tour guide about the animals. The road to the entrance is very bad, it needs a lot of attention.

My daughter and I decided to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and what better way to spend it listening to the roar of the lions at night. It was almost like they were roaming outside the lodge. The bird life was also something we didn't expect, simply awe inspiring. The only disappointment was not seeing...

Most enjoyable stay, excellent accommodation. Was a little disappointed that access to the cat enclosures was so limited, and only at cost not budgeted for (not mentioned on the website). Nevertheless a worthwhile visit..

The Staff was wonderful and if one needs an absolute tranquillity, this is the place. This place is very hospitable for unwinding and feeling the fresh breeze of the mountains. We had such a wonderful and live experience of seeing the big Cats being feed. Thank you guys.

Overall we enjoyed our stay which was for 5 nights, perhaps a day or so too long. The accommodation, food - far too much for us Europeans - and service were excellent, as were the 2 game trips we took.

Chilled atmosphere surrounded by nature and the lion`s roar! Very relaxing stay with enough to do to keep the children occupied. Great cuisine and a pool to cool you down. Aircon in rooms would be nice.

We were all too happy spent a few days at the Lions Rock Lodge. The hosts were very kind and would read your wishes from the lips. Eveven when the weather was unusual during summer (it was raining in the afternoon, sometimes even cold, the fire places were to be activated), the is plenty to see and to learn about...
