We visited the spa which was top rate. The treatment and materials used were first class. The spa is set in tranquil woodland and was an excellent experience. We had booked a combination package for the Spa and a starter and desert from the adjoining restaurant. When we saw the menu at the restaurant we decided to add the main...

I loved the duplex chalets, clean upmarket rooms, reasonable rates and friendly hosts. Definitely worth a third visit if I am ever in Port Shepstone. Beautiful tree lined views from the wooden deck, equipped with gas braai, for self catering guests.

Head, heart and deed. It was clear that every detail of our stay and Honeywood experience had been considered with careful thought, love, and hard work. Who's responsible? The Smith family. Welcoming, well liked and tentative owners who have lovingly crafted this South coast gem into something unique and truly special. Chalets are generous and comfortable in every way. They...

Highly recommended. We visited the spa whilst staying in the area and we immediately wished we'd stayed at Honeywood in stead of our south coast dive. It's a beautiful venue, nestled in an incredible KZN valley forrest with abundant bird life and incredible indigenous flora. Owners are hands-on, accommodating and the staff reflect this attitude. You can't really go wrong...

We had lunch at The Cellar - excellent food and service - followed by massages on the deck of the spa, overlooking a forest. Recommend to anyone wanting to escape the holiday madness for a few hours. Pumpkin & goats cheese salad particularly recommended.

I stayed at Honeywood with my sister and best friend and it was utterly delightful. The chalet was clean and very comfortable. Everything you would need for a home from home experience was laid on for you. The setting was idyllic, with the birds, monkeys and trees all around the chalets. Breakfast on the balcony, was ideal. The staff were...

We were four on a birdwatching holiday in South Africa. Honeywood is an ideal spot for birders, since there are so many beautiful birds right on the property, some in the open spaces around the cottages, and others in the wooded ravine behind the cottages. We had a very spacious, comfortable cottage, with a lower level and upper level balcony....

An excellent place for a weekend getaway. Its a green, spacious, clean place ideal for a quiet getaway. The self contained cottages are self catering with the shops a few metres away. You have an option of eating in the restaurant for the best food South Africa has to offer. The chef there is world class. My daughters really enjoyed...
