Lovely reserve with many animals to see. Unfortunately staff didnt keep up to its reputation. Didnt get what we paid for. No shower in a deluxe cabin although they are advertised with showers. Reluctant to recommend to friends.

Definately worth the drive out and if you can spend the evening, do so. We stayed in the pipe dream which was very novel. Frendly accomodating staff and open every day during the week, in and outside of season with everything operational. Clearly this place does not subscribe to the same weekend only attitude that the rest of the South... More

I attended a work conference with about 125 people. The views are beautiful, open fields with low mountains and a lake. The accommodation was surprisingly low key and I really did expect better, our rooms were either transformed horse stables or perhaps the game lodge really went for that rugged sleeping in a stable feel and look. Our rooms were... More

It's hardly two hours drive for Durban and what a beautiful place. Exceeded all my expectations. The overnight stay was comfortable in the self catering cabin. Make sure u ask for cabin 8 or 9. The game reserve drive was decent for a car as advertised on their website. Although it would've helped if I had a 4x4 as there... More

Lake Eland is one of my favorite places in the whole world. Albeit almost every I visit the weather turns rather wet. From great game drives in your own vehicle getting up close and personal to the animals, to lovely accommodation. And of course the suspension bridge is always a hit. I have just so many good things to say... More

This little heaven on earth must be one of the best kept came reserves I have visited this year, roads are well kept and there is a abundant of game to view. The views and surrounding nature is breath-taking. The zip lines is an added bonus and well priced for those adrenalin junkies out there. The entrance fee to the... More

Nice day out for the whole family, enjoying the beautiful views. The walk over the Suspension Bridge is breathtaking. Lovely spots for a braai or a picnic in the shades of the trees. The roads are well maintained. Worth a visit for a day.

Myself and two friends stayed in the cabins beside the top lake for a two night break. What can I say.....it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The cabins are very clean, comfortable and have everything and more that you could possibly need. We were out all day, spotting Buck, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra etc and an abundance of... More
