I stayed in a private room. I was given a large double bed (maybe queen-size). There was a bedside table and small bookshelf, as well as a sink a mirror. No coat hangers or access to ironing, though they do offer a laundry service for 10 CHF a load and are very quick. During my stay in the last week...

This hostel had a great location and was only a 10 minute walk to Zurich HB. There were heaps of stairs just to get to reception and then more to our room. Wifi is only available in the small common area outside reception. Breakfast wasn't included and there was no toaster. It was a very expensive hostel for what you...

Very good location which suited our needs to see as much as possible in just 1 nights' stay. Negatives being the massive amount of stairs up, the wonky floors, the unloved decor and unfortunately (not the hostels fault) but unfriendly feel from the other hostelers. I do appreciate a kind of eccentric feel to a hostel, and the crazy floor...

Really average hostel. Horrible bathrooms. There are a lot of stairs to climb to get to the reception and then more to the rooms. There is no microwave and good luck finding the things you need to make and serve a meal. There is no common area, just a small place to sit near the reception that is too cramped...

This hostel is more than average but not quite in the very good category. Its location is excellent, just about a six/eight minute walk from the main train station, and it is in the old part of the city which has lots of atmosphere. The rooms are clean, linen fresh and the reception staff are very helpful and friendly. Note...

As it's been said before - perfect location, but a million stairs. Nice rooftop for sitting. Also, provided a great way to get rid of ubiquitous 1/2 franc pieces - feed 'em into the coffee machine in the lobby. Also, really sorry we didn't check out Cabaret Voltaire nearby - the place has a rich history!

Really near everything, you can just walk everywhere. It has a nice price, specilly when you realize you are in Switzerland. The bathrooms were a bit dirty and usually full of water, besides it, everything was perfect.

This Hostel was really close to the Train Station, so was nice and convenient!!! It's was MANY flights of stairs upwards tho; not great with a heavy backpack on lol The Lady on reception was nice and offered me a better room than I'd previously booked which was nice 😊 The room was very cramped and warm.....the Hostel did provide...

Everything in Switzerland is super expensive, so compared to other hostels in Europe you feel like you're getting a terrible deal! But it's not a bad choice compared to everything else in Zurich. Good location. Right in the centre of the old town. Reception hours suck. They're closed between 12 and 3, but if you plan ahead you won't be...

Let's start with the good points. Location is very good as it is just 10 mins away from Zurich HBF. it has many restaurants and cinemas in the area as well. The staff's very friendly and accommodating. Here comes the cons - the stairs!!! It takes 3 flights of stairs to get to the lobby. There is no in-room wifi,...
