Perfect location...but not easy to find. Behind and above a place called Spaghetti. Works .A very cool/chic location. My private room, no. Ensuite bathroom, had a sink. Staff eager to assist/please About. The many stairs. ( no. Lift ) I'm. 71, and considered the stairs good exercise. Zurich even more expensive than my trip to Sydney. So, pack many lunches.

This little hole-in-the-wall hostel is a decent place, bit pricy but that's Zurich for you. The location is great, right in the middle of the old town. The reception is not open 24 hours like it said on my booking confirmation, but apparently there is a number to call them if they're not in the office. They have kitchens which... More

Stayed here for 1 night on my way to Vienna. The room I stayed in had 3 bunks, small lockers, sink and a mirror. The kitchen and showers/washroom was down the hall. The showers were really nice and clean as was the room. The best part about this hostel was the close proximity to Hauptbahnhof, the main train station, as... More

We stayed here en-route from Paris to Verona, good location, less than 10 mins from the train station and right in the middle of the lovely old town surrounded by lots of restaurants and cafes. The hostel is on the higher floors so expect a long walk to the top! Reception staff were very friendly, and hostel is clean. Only... More

Stayed for two nights on our way from Paris to Rome. The place is a short walk through the picturesque old town. We arrived fifteen minutes prior to the reception opening but were able to sit in the common area and wait. There are lots of stairs. We checked in quickly and the man on reception was really friendly and... More

I came to Zurich on short notice and got a bed here for the night due to it's amazing central location. It's just off the main street and up a number of stairs, and then you are greeted by the common area and reception. At the time the wifi was only available in this room but I can see from... More

I stayed in a private room. I was given a large double bed (maybe queen-size). There was a bedside table and small bookshelf, as well as a sink a mirror. No coat hangers or access to ironing, though they do offer a laundry service for 10 CHF a load and are very quick. During my stay in the last week... More

This hostel had a great location and was only a 10 minute walk to Zurich HB. There were heaps of stairs just to get to reception and then more to our room. Wifi is only available in the small common area outside reception. Breakfast wasn't included and there was no toaster. It was a very expensive hostel for what you... More

Very good location which suited our needs to see as much as possible in just 1 nights' stay. Negatives being the massive amount of stairs up, the wonky floors, the unloved decor and unfortunately (not the hostels fault) but unfriendly feel from the other hostelers. I do appreciate a kind of eccentric feel to a hostel, and the crazy floor... More
