The second time I've stayed here and again the best and most comfortable stay I've had in a hotel
The first time I stayed I was very anxious about a big tattoo session the next day and Xiori was just amazing. She made sure everything was perfect for me and I had easily the best sleep I've ever had in a hotel. And this continued the following nights I stayed. Noise free, so comfortable, just perfect. For such a large hotel it still manages a friendly welcoming, personal vibe and thats down to Xiori and all her awesome colleagues

We liked this hotel, we stayed here the second week of Jan 2020, extremely clean, large family room which has 1 double bed and 1 couch turns to a double bed, with a great city view and very good location.. Prices in Zurich overall is high so this hotel can be prefered as they do not provide amenities in room (kettle, tea, coffee, room service,Minibar etc) to reduce the room rates.. Highly recommanded for families and would suggest to take room only as breakfast until 10 and you may not be able to catch it and as I remember it was 18 CF per adult .. The only negative point I can share is that there is no ramp up to the hotel enterance for strollers and disabled persons and even for luggages, which made our life harder with the twins stroller in every enterance and exit.. I highly suggest the management to do one for the ease if their guests.

Short walk to the train station in which you can take S10 to go the the main station ZURICH HB and then the airport by S34.
Thanks Motel One,,

Motel One suited all our needs great location close to the old town and town centre, tram system is excellent totally recommend getting the Swiss pass great value for money. Motel One is situated close to the tram station with easy connections to all areas of Zurich and Airport. Motel one rooms were very neat and clean close to restaurants and site seeing attractions. Totally recommend to include breakfast great value with a huge selection to choose from savoury to sweet. Enjoy :)

I was traveling with my family - my wife and 6 months old baby.
The hotel is very reachable by public transportation and car and is located just next to the Bahnhofstrasse. They have a 30 mins private parking where you can drop off luggage and move your car to nearby parking for the night. They also have two luggage strollers which are very handy. No porter service, however.
We took the bigger room to accommodate the baby crib, and the room was indeed big enough for the three of us.
The room was very clean and looked very new, although the shower head was leaking and I had to insist that it would be replaced 3 different times.
The room has no mini bar, no coffee machine, no kettle and no water bottles or even a single spoon. Everything has to be requested from the bar down below, which is a bit absurd.
As I had to sterilize feeding bottles for my baby, I had to clean them in the room and take them all in a bag to the bar to help me sterilize them with boiling water.
The lady at the bar was extremely nice and was willing to help me with that.
Bottom line, this hotel is probably great for business trips, but less than ideal for families.

Stayed here for a couple of nights to be closed to downtown Zurich. Overall decent place within walking distance to most attractions and restaurants. Hotel lobby is nice and the room itself was fairly updated. Check in and check out were easy. My main issue with the hotel was a smoke smell in our room. At first we weren't sure if it was in the room itself or if it was coming through the vent system. We decided to stick it out for the two nights without bothering to change rooms. The first night the smoke smell was bearable but the second night it seemed to be stronger. Considering its a smoke free hotel, I'm not sure how there would be smoke in the vents either way. So if you smell smoke , you may want to consider telling the front desk or switching rooms. Also our room was on the back side of the hotel and there are only one set of elevators and its in the front of the hotel. Maybe the hotel will get an elevator on the backside so it'll save a lot of time walking.

For the Valentine's weekend, my girlfriend and I decided to do a trip to Zurich to visit some friends. As one of the most expensive cities in the world, we wanted to make sure to get something nice while spending the right amount. A friend suggested the Motel One, which is at walking distance from the city center (about 5 minutes). We booked the room and headed up to Zurich. We arrived at around noon and the we were given the room even though the check in time is from 3 pm on, therefore we were happy to just relax a bit before wandering through the city. The rooms are very nice, well kept and modern: honourable mention to the restroom, very clean and with a great, big shower. The personnel at the reception is extremely courteous and very accommodating, we have been very pleased with the overall kindness of the staff. The only downside, if any, is that the hotel doesn't have its own parking facilities, although there are plenty at walking distance. Overall, the feeling of great value for money remained throughout the whole weekend, and we have been very happy with our choice. Highly suggested, both for leisure and business trips.

We were slightly worried as this hotel described itself as "budget" which would suggest a very sparse and basic room however aside from the fact that there was neither a phone or a minibar in the room the facilities were top notch (I can't remember the last time I had a need for a phone in a hotel room anyway) the hotel is ideally placed within a short walking distance from both the old town and the lake, it offers a great breakfast and a very cosy bar with a terrace. Staff were really helpful and rooms clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone heading for Zurich

Motel One is a large hotel on a busy street in Zurich, Switzerland. We were able to park in the alley behind the hotel to unload our luggage before driving the car to an underground garage about 4 blocks away. The room was nice but the buffet breakfast cost 21 Euros each and only included coffee, orange juice, cereal and bread but no eggs or sausage.

Dear DarylJ552, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very happy that you have enjoyed your stay in our hotel. We always recommend the next public parking (Parkhaus Bleicherweg, Beethovenstrasse 35) or the white zones around the hotel. You are welcome to unload the luggage in our courtyard. Our continental breakfast buffet includes bread and bread rolls, a variety of cheese and cold cuts, muesli and yoghurt, pastries and croissants, hard boiled eggs, a vegetarian spread and cream cheese, two kinds of juice and unlimited coffee and tea. We would be very happy to welcoming you again in Zurich!

Excellent one night stay with husband in Zurich. Central location with paid car parking about a 15 minute walk away. Breakfast was great with many options, staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was modern and stylish and spotlessly clean. I could not fault this hotel! They also let us check in early as they had a room available which was very helpful after a long day of travelling.

Room Tip: Research car parking first if driving, as we were new to Zurich it took us a while to find parking.

For a 3 star hotel I have to say that I was blown away by the design of this hotel. The rooms are very clean and cosy though they lack basic necessities like coffee machine, minibar phone and working desk.
Hotel is centrally located and in a quiet neighborhood.

Staff were generally very friendly except for one Mr. Alexandru who I encountered during check in. He was hesitant when I asked him to explain to me the room options of the hotel, even telling me to check on my phone myself.
Further, call it tough luck, but my cards didn’t work, and so I offered to pay by cash INCLUDING a deposit for incidentals...(which I know to be common procedure in hotels). He was adamant that this is not allowed by ’their hotel’-resulting in me having to go sort out the card situation first ((A lady), in the middle of the night).
ALL THIS, only to find out the next day from his colleagues that cash is allowed-Duh! like any other sane hotel.
In a separate incident while I was at the reception, a lady requested him to have softer pillows to which he bluntly responded ‘the pillows we have are the pillows we have’ in a tone that suggested..take it or leave it!
Maybe it was his bad day, but if you ask me he has an attitude that does not belong at the front desk.

Otherwise, I had a pleasant stay and I would greatly recommend this hotel.
