We love the Arlette. Just across the Limmat near the Train Station, on a street that is filled with good restaurants, run by a family that looks out for you . . . what more could you ask for. The rooms are modest yet comfortable, beds and pillows are good, the street is relatively quiet. Breakfast consists of coffee or... More

If you are arriving or departing Zurich via train, this little hotel can't be beat. It is a very short walk and easy to find. Rooms were functional and quiet, nice bathroom and nice breakfast. Many restaurants and shops within a short walk. Loved the location of this hotel!

As they advertise, this is a small hotel with petite rooms at a really good price. It has a great old-world charm. The room key is the type you turn in when you leave -- it's big and clunky. (I would have been disappointed otherwise.) I do want to point out that the bathroom, while small, has been modernized. And... More

Good for short stay. Family run hotel with small and cozy rooms. Very close to Zurich HB train station and accessible from main attractions. They serve free basic continental breakfast. Scores very high on cleanliness. Wifi is free and good. Also very helpful and courteous people.

Stay there for a night, room and service was basic comes with basic breakfast - bread basket, coffee and a cup of juice. Good thing we were allowed to check in early!! It was very well located, 5 mins away from the train station situated on a smaller street. Pillow was extremely soft and thin, room was dated. Shower was... More

Promoted as a small "modern" hotel. Whilst well located near central station, and friendly help staff, it is rather more dated than modern. Lots of English Speaking TV channels was well appreciated, but I felt that the amenities in the room were more basic than I had expected. Breakfast was limited to a bread basket, juice and coffee unless you... More

Zurich station is huge with various exits so it took us a little longer than expected to find this hotel but returning to the station next day was simple. The hotel is quaint with dated decor but it is spotless and the owners are so helpful and very pleasant. Everything in our room worked perfectly. Breakfast simple but adequate.

We arrived in Zurich for one night before starting a train trip to Vienna. This hotel is so conveniently close to the rail station, just right for us. Our reception was fast and efficient and the staff spoke excellent English. We used the small lift two at a time, but it did the job of getting our luggage upstairs. Our... More

We booked this hotel as it was close to the railway station and yes it was, although a little difficult to find at first. The staff were friendly especially Maria who went out of her way to help us, the room was a little outdated, however the room and the bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was very poor, juice, bread,... More

I booked this hotel based on convenience to the train station (I had a 7am train the next morning) and the reviews. Relative to the price of other Zurich hotels, this was inexpensive at ~$142 USD, but about double what I would expect to pay for a 2-star hotel in other European cities. That being said, I booked a single... More
