We stayed on the second floor with a lake view and a balcony. The room was fine - and whilst it was quite noisy from the traffic, the shutters and blinds completely cut the noise for sleeping. Good views of the lake and activities.Beds very comfy but bathroom small and minimal. We ate three times at Le Pirate on the...

We had a balcony overlooking the waterfront. Room 211. It was perfect! There were great restaurants, and lots of water activities to choose from. The hotel employees were all friendly and very helpful. Next time, we plan to take the ferry over to France, as we did not get a chance to do this. We would definitely stay in this...

What makes this hotel interesting is the great views of the lake. The rooms are average and so is the service. The breakfast was quite crowded and not a great selection. We had dinner a couple of nights and it was very good. The location of course is great.

This hotel is perfectly situated for a family with young children. It's right across from a fantastic playground in the shape of a big ship, next door to the metro station, and across the street from Ouchy port. The accommodations are simple but clean. There aren't many family rooms available though (like most Swiss hotels) so be prepared to get...

With a walk out the door to Lake Geneva, the location is perfect. A park with children's area, boat launch and docks are here. The hotel has a terrace restaurant and a pirate themed restaurant on the ground floor. Balcony rooms are nice but come with the street noise. Some rooms have AC, all have fans. The breakfast was a...

During the past many years I've stayed at many different hotels in and around the Lausanne-area. The last five trips I have chosen to stay at Aulac simply because it offers best value for money. Standard is pretty basic but it has all the content that I'm looking for. Very good location by the lake. Rooms are of normal size,...

The hotel is perfectly located near the lakeside. It is worth paying a little extra for a room with lake view. From the hotel you can take a nice stroll along the lakeside. The metro is right next to the hotel and takes you to the city center in a few minutes. The hotel will give you a free card...

We were very disappointed with the hotel. Nothing like its description on the websites.. Felt more like a budget hotel. Pillows and Beds were hard and flat. Bathroom was not impressive. Our room had a terrace. But was not pleasant. The hotel is in a great location and our room had a lovely view but when in bed you cant...

Location of the hotel is very nice. I had a room with view to the backyard which was very quiet. The harbor is just over the street. My room was nice and clean. Nothing to complain about. Parking is not provided at the hotel but within a hundred meters there is a 24/7 public parking garage. Restaurants are nearby.

Best thing I can say about it is: location. The metro station is just next door and few meters from the bus stop. Room was nice and spacious and I loved that the bathroom had a bathtub (amazing to relax my first night after so many hours travelling), but the hotel in general seriously needs an image make up, the...
