Booked a Triple room for a night as I wanted a bigger room for 2 persons. The hotel turned out to be OKAY but I must also say it is pretty average for its price. It does its job but nothing much to rave about.
Interior wise very Swiss local theme. If you like that then good for you. Check in was easy but not all staffs were aligned when giving information like carpark. Staffs were pretty friendly so nothing complicated.
Location wise pretty good. Downhill walking distance to the lake in 13 minutes. Uphill back you could take the MRT and stop at nearby station. There are many shops and restaurants around as well.
Room wise not too bad but I expected more. You have the basics but around 3 star standard. They do not provide complimentary water bottle as I guess you take from the tap. The room generally come with kettle, iron, blackout curtains and simple toiletries.
The fitness center and sauna look good although I didn’t try it out due to short stay.
They have very limited carpark space so we missed that upon arrival. We had to park at Gare station which is a few minutes walk but come with special hotel rate. Make sure you ask the staff for instruction to pay before exit.
Breakfast at highest floor come with nice view. However, food is alright and can be extremely crowded so might be a concern during this pandemic times.
I think hotel provides free or rented e-bikes but we didn’t get to try it. Plus hotel never divulge information during check in.
All in all, it is an okay stay but I will definitely try somewhere else for the same range of prices. Biggest plus is its location. Rest of it quality wise is above average but no wow factor.

The Agora Swiss Night is a modern hotel in a quiet residential neighborhood, conveniently located only two blocks from the train station. It is also within walking distance of the central city; several restaurants are within walking distance as well. Our room was reasonable in size and included a small desk, two side chairs and built-in cabinets for storage that included a large luggage rack. The bathroom was conveniently arranged with abundant storage as well. The AC and WiFi worked well. The room was comfortable and silent, resulting in excellent sleep quality. The room was immaculate and in excellent repair. We purchased the breakfast buffet (20 CHF); it was comprehensive, well-stocked and was a very good value.
This hotel is not a luxury property, but it earned my 5-star rating because it did everything well. One could spend much more in Lausanne for a less comfortable, less conveniently located hotel. Were I to return to Lausanne, I'd unquestionably stay here again.

If you are traveling by train, this hotel's location cannot be beat. It is approx a block away from the 'rear' entrance to the train station, making access easy. Also less than half a block to the Grancy metro station (the metro goes all the way downhill to the waterfront & CGN Ferries). Bed was comfortable, shower was wonderful. Breakfast was excellent, if the room on top of the hotel can get a bit bright at times, but the views of the city & lake would be hard to beat.

I’ve chosen this hotel on a business trip due to its proximity to the central train station which is j deed good. But that’s about it. From the rather strange layout of the room, to the “no, we have no body lotion in our hotel, you do not have your own?” answer received from the reception when asking whether they had body lotion I was surprised not to have that in the room, and to the very poor breakfast buffet… it definitely does not fit the 4* hotel ranking and price tag in my opinion. Would not choose this hotel again - I’m sure there are better options in Lausanne.

As many, I chose this hotel because of its location (not too far from the train station) and its nice breakfast room. And naively I though it would indeed be a 4 stars hotel. How wrong I was! Welcome was all right. I was first given a room with almost no view. Not quite the superior room I booked that is supposed to be almost the highest category in the hotel. The only alternative I was given is the room pictured, with no real bathroom, electrical defaults in the bathroom, dirt on the walls, ... Awful! This is hardly a *** room! Then what was supposed to be the highlight was also a disappointment: the breakfast. Of course, the dining room (only open until 10:00am) is nice, but the breakfast is very basic, hardly **. In addition, there is no bar nor any other feature. Bottom line: This is certainly not a 4 stars hotel but rather a 3 stars overcharging (almost CHF 300 per night) and that requires urgent renovation work. Lausanne offers much better accommodations!

very central but still not noisy - I really liked the decoration and style, all very functional but lives up to the name of Swiss Nights. Parking available as well, and absolutly stunning view from the breakfast room. Can recommend

The hotel is located very close to the train station. One can easily go to Lausanne Lake or the city centre within a few minutes. The room was always clean. I had no problems with both the AC and the WiFi whilst staying in this hotel. The breakfast room is located at the upper most floor of the hotel. The view of the city from the breakfast room is great and the food was good. There was also a variety of choices for breakfast.

I understand it is a budget hotel, but we were quite disappointed. We were placed on the basement (below ground), so we could not see anything by way of views. The staff seemed tired, exasperated with tourist questions - but you're next to the train station - shouldn't they expect tourists? They made me feel stupid for being so unknowledgeable of the area.
On the top floor is the restaurant overlooking wonderful views. Well what do you know? Really literally better to be on the top.
On the other hand, the hotel was well located near the Gare de Lausanne so it is perfect if you want to move around. It is next to the metro, next to stores and cafes.

First of all, we are sorry you didn't like the room. Those rooms on the first floor obviously does not offer very clear view, but they do offer a quiet atmosphere and freshness when it is hot outside. The hotel is modern with Swiss design features . My room was on the 5th floor and was very quiet . There was a small fridge , good WiFi, comfortable bed and places to sit . Housekeeping was very good . There is a breakfast restaurant on the top floor with nice views of the lake . However there are places to eat close by - cafes , patisseries , restaurants so plenty of choice and all easily accessible . The hotel is close to the railway station ( use lake exit ) and very easy to find . Yet it is also tucked away which is good for sleep ! I would definitely stay there again .
