We stayed to Nights. The room we had was spacius (#212),nice bathroom with a bathtube/shower.Soap was provided aswell as towels, safe,tv.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
The breakfast buffet (7-10) had everything we needed,we liked that it had a coffeemachine fior self service.bread was good, croissants were sad(dry,no taste).
Nice choice of fresh fruits, cheese,müsli, jam, ham etc.
The price was totally ok.
The beds were comfy,we pre- ordered second pillows, that was a good thing to do.
Even though the hotel is close to the center,it was quiet and we hadgood nights of sleep.

In the room there were some small details that can be re-done,for example a small drilling hole on the wall of the shower or some stains on the wardrobe.but nothing serious.

Stayed for 3 nights. Good stay. Room is slightly compact but not bad. Enough space to store luggage. Room and bathroom was clean with fresh linen. Bathroom seems renovated. Bath towels, hand towels and bath mat was provided. Bathroom has hair dryer and heated towel rail.
Room has 2 single beds joined together. Windows can be fully opened. Our room had a view of Matterhorn. Breakfast is included (continental and good quality).
Don’t follow google map to reach the hotel. Instead map- Pfarrkirche St. Mauritius ( church) and take right on Metzggasse. Hotel has a rooftop that has a view of Matterhorn, make sure to view it at sunrise and sunset. If you don’t opt for room cleaning service you get drinks voucher (you can still
get fresh towels).

Norbi at the reception is a great guy, make sure to have a chat with him, he will make your day!!

I definitely recommend this place.

This was a great place to stay in Zermatt. The rooms were cozy, and the staff were so helpful and friendly! The breakfast was excellent as well. Both the night clerk and the day clerk were always happy to answer our questions and have great conversations.

This is a good location for summer, a bit tricky for winter with an uphill on ice to climb. The breakfast is ok, but the cleaning of the tables while customers are eating is a bit offsetting. The reception personnel could be warmer. Very dry welcoming with “you need to come at 15:00 for check in “... the same in the morning .. no smiles, no good morning even.....

Room #212 was clean, comfortable and quiet. There's a bathtub & overhead shower connection. No desk but plenty of closet space for clothes. The location is great. It's a 15-minute walk from the train station through the town's shopping district. Check in & check out was excellent with English speaking receptionists.

Great place in Zermatt. This hotel is centraly located in Zermatt. The staff are nice and helpful. Breakfast is great with a lot of variation. The value for money wins big here. Yes, the rooms are not that big, but you will probably stay most of the time outside.

Loved location but the rooms are very small.
The breakfast is good and the staff is friendly, helpful and courteous. The rooftop view of matterhorn was wonderful, especially at sunrise. I'd likely stay there again.

What a gem (but be aware that there is a short uphill walk from the town to the hotel). Stayed here with my daughter to ski. Lovely compact room (not a problem at all with if you’re only really sleeping there). Wonderful breakfast, helpful staff, boot room a few steps up the road. Would recommend it and stay there again.

What a quaint and charming place. in the center of Zermatt. A short walk from the train station. The roof top view of the Matterhorn at sunrise was an incredible experience . Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone. The staff was extremely friendly and breakfast was great.

Stayed here in July for a week. This was a great little hotel. It might look a bit like a concrete yellow block, but the inside was lovely, comfortable and cosy, complete with kinky seethrough bathroom door in your room! (Don't worry, you won't see each other on the loo!) It had stunning views of the Matterhorn from the sun terrace on the roof and the food was very very tasty! The staff were really knowledgable and some of the friendliest we have encountered. Location is good, just 3 mins from the main drag and the lifts etc. We would have given this 5 out of 5, but would have prefered more pillows on the bed than the one they supplied. (We were told they had a pillow shortage at the time!) Would most definately stay here again if we can.

Daily check out timing? Or 24 hrs?
Answer from Wijitha G

We arrived in Zermatt at around 1000am and left the bags at the hotel and did our stuff. We only checked in around 4 pm. They mentioned checkin in time as 3 pm. Checkout time is around 10am but you will be able to leave the bags.
